I've seen BU cover downfield. He's one of the best coverage LB's there is, even downfield. Now, having said that, I hope Witten burns him repeatedly.

Maybe so but I'd take Witten in that matchup downfield any day....

Hey, I'm not perfect!!! Did you expect the Eagles to look like that. I didn't think either team looked good at all but McFlabb was outright terrible.. My bro was cool, he acted a fool as usual...:laugh2:

Yeah, both teams looked like...blah...nothing special, at least to me. But the RedStinks pulled it out, and that's good enough for me for the time being...

I wonder where my good friends are...you know them, the resident eagle fans.

Disappeared like a burgler!

Well, one or two chimed in...but I miss my good friend! I forgot his name...something like TP...Phnzix...Tearing...hell I forgot his name!

Gates had 9 catches for over 100 yards and a TD against the Bears, but I think they use him more like a receiver than a TE. Gonzalez had 4 for about 50. Hopefully Witten falls follows along Gates' numbers.

That would be sweet wouldn't it. Especially if Owens, Hurd & Crayton get their licks in too.

I'm telling ya, we matchup well with them. Archuletta has to cover somebody..

That is a really good point. Last year I was getting so stressed out during games but this year I am actually just enjoying them. I can handle losing if we are aggressive but I cannot handle losing if we are conservative in a close game.

Yeah, no kidding about losing a close game in a conservative way. My family thought I was giving birth during close games when we played "Parcells" football over the past few years.

We called a pass to TO on a 4th and 5?!? Are you freaking kidding me? No way that Parcells would have ever allowed that call, but I like it!!!!!

This what I like about this team. They won a good game at home and won a good away game. The team looks in great shape...! Strong, and hungry...and very relaxed and happy as a team. One road game out of the way...

Now, I hope they can carry that confidence up to Chi Town,,,

I have been reading the Bears forums and they give Dallas no respect what so ever. They are so confident in their defense.

I have been watching their games and to be honest I don't think they match up well against us. Granted they have a great DL/LB but they have not faced an OL as big as ours. Our OL has been wearing defenses down by the second half. Romo's scrambling ability also gives us an edge because it allows plays to develop longer. A big key to the game will be how well the RB's do. Julius had a big game against them a few years ago. Gurode and Davis will be huge in this one.

I don't think their secondary matches up very well against our WR's and TE's either.

I would love for us to beat the crud out of them.

i was in there forum to was that you talkin for da boys they was talkin crazy but to me nobody can cover to and witten idk care who

Why is everyone taking the Bears lightly?

It seems like since the last year, EVERY time all of the pundits overwhelmingly pick their OPPONENT to win, they come out gangbusters(i.e. the Saints in the NFC Title game, the Gints at midseason, and the Hawks early in the season).

This game isn't going to be easy.

I'm not taking them lightly, I just think they're very beatable especially with our offense..

gates did well, because they were stopping LT.

cowboys don't have that luxury. urlacher will negate witten. so like was said earlier, it comes down to the oline opening up holes and JJ and MB3 running well.

still have doubts the oline can defend the chicago pass rush. and with urlacher covering witten, doubling/tripling owens. crayton and hurd are going to have to step up. maybe fasano gets a big day.

now having said that, the absolute critical point is stopping the long ball to berrian. if they only do that, while not turning over the ball, the cowboys will be in it until the end.

They were stopping LT and did well but now they have to stop Witten, TO, Crayton, MB3, and JJ. With much respect to the Chargers O, we present more problems to the Bears then they did. I still don't buy into BU just shutting Witten out. If they double TO all day, Crayton will be open and if we go 2 TE's, who covers Fasano. This is more difficult for the Bears then what you think..

They have a chance and a good one at that because they're home but I believe we can beat them and will do so...

I just got back from Chicago yesterday and I can tell you that the hard core fans are worried about playing Dallas. They know how good our offense is and that we have a great O-line. They also are sick of Rex and want him benched because they know it doesn't take much for him to lose his cool. Both of their running back fumble way too often and the fans wish that they hadn't traded away Jones.

My gut tells me this will be a very hard fought game with Rex/their RB's providing us very costly turnovers. We win 31-17.

Yeah, last year, everyone was picking against the Bears on national TV. Giants vs Bears, Saints vs Bears, and Seahawks vs Bears. Chicago won all those games convincingly.

Not sure what Natl TV has to do with it but that was last year and their D has changed and so has our team as well, especially adding JG as our OC...

And the Giants and Saints have shown everyone that they are exactly who we thought they were. That Seahawks game wasnt convincing, the Bears won it by the skin of their teeth. Fantastic, who cares.
