One of the main issues in 2017 was lack of speed outside and lack of quality route runners. Going into 2018 we had s lack of talent. Going into 2019 things have an opportunity to be vastly improved, IMO.
Cooper offers both the threat of a burner and precise route running, along with Gallup flashing some real downfield ability along with being a good route runner.
Obviously slot is a need with Beasley a FA. It would be great to find a reciever with size and speed with the ability to play inside or outside to really allow flexibility as far as who lines up where. You pretty much know Beasley's slot only, and he can only run a few routes. Adding another quality guy with a combo of size, speed and route running should be a point of emphasis, IMO.
Having the ability to move Cooper around to get favorable matchups would be huge.
I actually like Witten coming back as far as the TEs are concerned, because he's on an affordable deal and it sounds like Jarwin and Schultz are still going to get their opportunities to play and develop.
Otherwise, that's about all I have to say.
I look forward to hearing some of y'alls different thoughts and ideas, as well, along with the inevitably differing opinions to come.
