This is one of those games that we should easily win but we go on the road, we start off slowly and get behind, the other teams gets some confidence, then its a dogfight until the end with a team that we should've crushed.
Hope that's not the case at all, hope we crush them, but if we do, it will be a stark change from our history of playing to the level of the other team.

It's bad there, but strangely, many of their fans are expecting a Titan victory. They seem to think the Cowboys are one of the weakest teams they'll face this year.

Dallas >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tennessee

I'll be dissapointed if we don't win by at least 17

Picked up this gem from the Titans board:

"Dallas........even without TO, their receivers make our group look like pop-warner. Glenn on either Hill or Pac is laughable, and we have absolutely nobody to guard Witten, their probowl TE.

Even if Vanderchoke is liquored up, it will not matter since the score will not be close enough for a missed kick to matter.

We will get slaughtered, Dallas has had 2 weeks to rest and prepare, although I am sure Parcells only spent about 5 mins to completly game plan us.....pathetic"

If we don't whoop this team convincingly I think the team will have underachieved.

This one almost made me fall off my bed in laughter:

Under a thread titled "When do we break out the paper bags?"

"When do we break out the paper bags (over our heads) at the home-games?

Now, 0-3? (Dallas game)

0-6? (Houston game)

0-9? (Baltimore game)

0-11? (NYG game)

Call your friends who are Bengals or Saints fans, and let's find out when it's appropriate. (I vote NOW!)"

Titans are in the first year of a rebuilding year with Vince Young. Their offense - currently led by Kerry Collins - is not clicking at all. Personally, I don't think Collins has the receivers. Rumor has it that V. Young may start this game. I don't buy that cheese. Collins is their best asset - for now.

So, are they beatable? Yes, very much so. But Collins is a good veteran (not great), meaning thay can beat us if we continue to make costly mistakes. Cillins can take advantage of turnovers and get points on the board. He's a very hot-and-cold QB and he's been cold up to now. If he mystriously turns hot against us he may give us some fits.

I look at this game as a test much like the J'Ville game. In the past we've always played to the level of competition. If the opposing team is good we play good , if they're bad we play bad enough for them to compete.

A good team beats a bad team 9/10 times. If Tennessee is as bad as advertised , I will be dissapointed if we dont thrash them.

Good teams beat bad teams badly. We really should roll against them. A rookie QB against the 3-4 sounds like a disaster for them, surprised if Vince starts. He has to have next to zero experience against that D. Hope we get very ahead and can see Romo and Carpenter get some action. #81 will not play IMO, just a decoy all week so they have to prepare for him.

This game will tell me a lot about our team. If we come out and take care of business, then I'll start to believe.

During the past few seasons, we've tanked in games like this. Remember last year against the Niners and Rams?

If we're truly a good team, then we'll come out and impose our will.

If we're a mediocre team, then we'll struggle to pull one out, or we'll get beat.

Tennessee is no slouch though......They have big WRs like Jax, they have three solid RBs...

could be tough.

If Vince does start i highly doubt we crush Vince with many sacks as he is hard to bring down and has obviously very good mobility, but we probably will intercept him 2 or 3 times. my boy Vince just isnt ready for a D like the one we have, they will confuse the heck out of him

This is what worries me.....

A QB that can run can cause all sorts of trouble.

I'd rather face Collins to be perfectly honest. I think we can drill him....Young can escape.

And if he avoids the rush, then he won't throw many picks....because when he escapes, the defense will breakdown causing some wide open WRs.

i predict a shut out, regardless of who the qb is. roy will have another int newman and henry and watkins will have their first ints, newman possibly two.

42-0 :D

if you want an easier game then yea i agree Collins is your man. He has been very unaccurate and taken many sacks because of his virtually non-mobility and poor O-line. Plus with Collins in the game all you hear will be boos against the titans because the fans wanting Vince in the game. and doesnt exactly help confidence when everything is already going wrong

Not me, Collins kills us all the time, no matter who he's playing for..

Yeah, but they are saying that the team is not responding to KC, so they are ready to move towards the future...Good move for them, cause they suck this year! Might as well move on
