Green is a Beast
He's OK, but he's no Tyron Smith.
Green is a Beast
Of the next three games I think this one is the most winnable. I think the Packers are beatable but probably not up there and the game after we're getting Wentzed and left on the curb naked with no cab fare.
Eh.. Green would just disappear here as well.
I don't know why you guys get so enamored with these WR's that get ridiculous volume and think they are better than Dez because of it.
Because he's better than Bryant.
I like Bryant but he's not as good as Green and Jones and the other Bryant.
They never do that..Dallas can beat anyone if they continue to score TDs and play keep away with 0 turnovers. So basically they have to play perfect
He needs to be doubled. Every. Single. PlayGreen is a Beast
You can't really use logic like, "well we didn't let Beckham bust us up, so Green might not either."
Green is an elite WR. He's going to be a pain in the butt. What we did against ODB in the first game is largely meaningless and has little bearing on this game for a variety of reasons.
I suspect, he's going to get his yards and maybe a TD. The Cowboys can win as long as they don't let someone else on that offense tear us up too.
I'd trade Bryant for Green without even blinking.
Who's the other Bryant? Montavius?
Because he's better than Bryant.
I like Bryant but he's not as good as Green and Jones and the other Bryant.
I just think it's easy to say that now.
He's better because he's available.
When healthy there is not 1 single WR or TE that's better at consistently finding pay dirt than Dez Bryant. Nobody.
AJ is great but he would just be another decoy here in Dallas.
No way. Even if Dallas loses, aside from getting blown out, the line will be 4-5 at the most. Vegas won't get equal betting with Green Bay -7, there will be a disproportionate amount of money on Dallas.I understand. I'm just saying this is a virtual pick-em.
Green Bay might be a 7 or 8 point favorite next week.
Good write up, I think the key is controlling AJ Green on key plays, he is going to catch passes , it just depends on when asHigh-scoring affairs don't favor the Cowboys right now, and the Dallas defense looks more than willing to give up the goose if a good offense wants to take advantage.
Therein lies the source of our "uh-ohs" as we peer ahead to the next three ominous games. Green Bay looks like a nightmare on Lambeau street, and Philadelphia remains a mystery wrapped in an enigma, but that games sounds creepy, too.
But let's just hold up a second on Cincinnati. The Bengals might be ripe for the picking because the deeper you look into this game, the more the Cowboys look like a bad matchup for those boys.
Consider:
The Bengals are in one of their typical swoons so far, so this might not be the battle some expect. If the score remains reasonably low, the Cowboys can absolutely play in this game. At home, with arrows pointing up and players come back, I think the Cowboys get this done.
- Andy Dalton may be the best QB Dallas has faced. Perhaps that would be Eli, but either way, I think those two guys are negligible. On the other hand, Dak Prescott is better today than he was in Week 1 against Eli, and his brand of football to date is tailor-made for a game like this provided some things happen described below. This could be very close to a push at that position in the end.
- AJ Green should go wild against this defense? Hmmm, Odell Beckham didn't, and his counterparts were far more dangerous than those running with Green. Morris Claiborne is playing (finally) like an above average cornerback, and Scandrick returns to a group with Carr and an impressive young rookie in Brown. Jones and Church can help over the top with Green.
- The Bengals have a terrific defensive line. Well, fine, the Cowboys have a terrific offensive line to counter, assuming Tyron Smith plays. In fact, it's better than before because Leary is better than Collins at this point in time.
- Tyler Eifert is a dangerous tight end. Again, fine, if Eifert is healthy enough to go, Dallas has Byron Jones, who has shown to be excellent against the top tight ends. Eifert very well may not play anyway.
- The Cowboys lack a pass rush. Well, Demarcus Lawrence is back, so there's hope of a slight improvement, and the Bengals offensive line is suspect so far in 2016. This is no different than previous games this season. Marinelli's smoke-and-mirror jalopy is somehow getting from A to B without a crankshaft or lug nuts.
- Dez is out again most likely. Well, frankly my dear, Dak doesn't seem to give a damn. He's throwing to everyone like a seasoned vet. He's not bullied into favoring anyone like most rookies are, and he can scoot when needed.
- Dallas has the leading rusher in the NFL. True, the Bengals have a good front seven, so this will be a battle. However, Ezekiel Elliott has found his rhythm and his swagger, and he's hitting holes lightning fast. There's a real tempo developing between him and the offensive line. Not sure anyone can really bottle this up going forward, and Alfred Morris provides more than solid relief.
- The Bengals have secondary issues. They're not bad, but they certainly aren't great. If the Cowboys can give Prescott enough time, his ability to throw short could really frustrate and tire that Bengal front seven. This is where Dak shows so much poise and confidence.
Dallas 24, Cincinnati 23.
I just think it's easy to say that now.
He's better because he's available.

So Dez is the best receiver in football?
- AJ Green should go wild against this defense? Hmmm, Odell Beckham didn't, and his counterparts were far more dangerous than those running with Green. Point is our d if Scandrick plays, should be the strongest top to bottom we've had this season. Lawrence will get snaps, so that in itself is a bonus. Wr's are gonna get their yds, it's the 50 yd plays that we have to avoid.
