This is going to be interesting. It's possible Donovan E ends up being the best pass rusher in the class. He's 21 and his technique is just so good. We're not talking potential with Randy Gregory. This dude already has NFL technique.

I can't remember who said Dwight Freeny, but someone made that comp

EZ is also a better run defenders than people think.

That has the potential of a homerun pick. Im just curious about his run defense. If thats good too he might have All Pro Potential.
In 2024 along with his 16.5 sacks he had 21 TFL's ; 37 solo & 43 asst (80) tackles & 3 forced fumbles in 12 games. He also had 1 PD (not sure what that is - maybe pass defensed)

His 4 year career stats are: 47 games; 30 sacks; 113 solo; 102 asst; 215 comb tackles; 8 forced fumbles & 4 PD.

Ezeiruaku seems like a smart player. That's a big advantage over Sam Williams. If he can gain 10 or 15 lbs and maintain his quickness he could be pretty good lining up opposite side of Micah Parsons.

He's the real deal..........good run defender. His game reminds me of Greg Ellis. Not sure about the ALL-PRO level but you are getting a consistent starting player who will show up every Sunday.

It's always potential with the Cowboys. Yea, the potential that he will be the next Lawrence Taylor, but most likely he will be another Demarcus Lawrence. Given this franchises track record of talent development over the last quarter of a century it is more likely he will be another Demarcus Lawrence - if we are lucky.

It is funny, I was listening to Daniel Jeremiah's podcast about two weeks before the draft last week. He listed 4-5 players that teams had all over the map on their draft boards. Three of the names were Ezeiruaku, Revel and McMillon. Just found it intersting three guys dallas liked (two they picked...one they would have) were on that list. He likes Ezeiruaku but some teams didn't like his power and Jeremiah agreed he will need to work on this in the pros.

I don't know how good he can be against the run in the NFL at under 250 lbs. With him, Micah, and Osa all undersized, we're awfully small on the DL.

It's always potential with EVERY rookie. It's not just the very special Dallas Cowboys who aren't fortunate enough to have the next Lawrence Taylor.
