This is going to be interesting. It's possible Donovan E ends up being the best pass rusher in the class. He's 21 and his technique is just so good. We're not talking potential with Randy Gregory. This dude already has NFL technique.

I can't remember who said Dwight Freeny, but someone made that comp

EZ is also a better run defenders than people think.

That has the potential of a homerun pick. Im just curious about his run defense. If thats good too he might have All Pro Potential.
In 2024 along with his 16.5 sacks he had 21 TFL's ; 37 solo & 43 asst (80) tackles & 3 forced fumbles in 12 games. He also had 1 PD (not sure what that is - maybe pass defensed)

His 4 year career stats are: 47 games; 30 sacks; 113 solo; 102 asst; 215 comb tackles; 8 forced fumbles & 4 PD.

Ezeiruaku seems like a smart player. That's a big advantage over Sam Williams. If he can gain 10 or 15 lbs and maintain his quickness he could be pretty good lining up opposite side of Micah Parsons.

He's the real deal..........good run defender. His game reminds me of Greg Ellis. Not sure about the ALL-PRO level but you are getting a consistent starting player who will show up every Sunday.

It's always potential with the Cowboys. Yea, the potential that he will be the next Lawrence Taylor, but most likely he will be another Demarcus Lawrence. Given this franchises track record of talent development over the last quarter of a century it is more likely he will be another Demarcus Lawrence - if we are lucky.

It is funny, I was listening to Daniel Jeremiah's podcast about two weeks before the draft last week. He listed 4-5 players that teams had all over the map on their draft boards. Three of the names were Ezeiruaku, Revel and McMillon. Just found it intersting three guys dallas liked (two they picked...one they would have) were on that list. He likes Ezeiruaku but some teams didn't like his power and Jeremiah agreed he will need to work on this in the pros.

I don't know how good he can be against the run in the NFL at under 250 lbs. With him, Micah, and Osa all undersized, we're awfully small on the DL.

It's always potential with EVERY rookie. It's not just the very special Dallas Cowboys who aren't fortunate enough to have the next Lawrence Taylor.

Well that's something he can grow into what's the difference if he's a dynamic pass rusher say like Robert Quinn has some weaknesses in the run department he can learn to get better at it what's the difference tank wasn't a very good pass rusher he was really good in the run defense somehow he became a pro bowler i'm pretty sure that every Player has weaknesses I don't know any complete player that doesn't have a single weakness just like people figure out sometimes how to beat Parsons or you double or triple them you could take guys out of games but that's how I see this kid he has moves like Demarcus Ways got those long arms that bend but he is a dynamic pass rusher already he probably will be at least that in the NFLI don't know how great but to me he looks like Robert Quinn and right now yes Robert Quinn the knock on him was he didn't do much against a run at all,

However he played a very long time in this league and people are going to say all he's good for was 10 sacks a year but yeah that's pretty much what he gave you so I'll deal with his weaknesses if this guy turns out to be a war daddy on the opposite side of Parsons causing havoc while overshown comes back in the middle and causes havoc this defense can end up being one of the best defenses we've ever had as far as in recent history you know the last decade..

It's crazy how much I wanted Abdul Carter you know because he looks so much like Parsons...

this guy looks a lot like Demarcus Ware and if anything, he could be Robert Quinn as his floor in this league ,and that's a great pickup... And he's got those war daddy long arms he's got that first contact that knocks a guy off balance...
I mean he's got all kinds of pass rush moves, I mean we could all be over rating him already, but he could be as good as Abdul Carter but like I said in other things if his floor is Robert Quinn, i'll take that right now..

If he has to learn how to play the run better that's fine but you can bring in a guy like Kneeland that's why we brought kneeland in here he's supposed to be better against the run we've got other players that we can rotate in and out like they do with defensive lines all over the NFL, For situational football this kid looks more than impressive and I never heard of him i'm not gonna claim to even know who this guy was going into the season even revel or Booker I mean these were total shocks to me and after watching a lot of video I can see why they picked these guys...
