I am probably more of a 'cup half empty' fan these last few years (Dave Campo)....but something is different tonight. I feel like something big is brewing for our team. Maybe not the Superbowl, but it's like when when we started the 90's run with the triplets and 'something' was happening. I can't put my finger on it, but it just feels different.
I am nervously anticipating the team starting a playoff run tomorrow. Honestly I haven't felt this excited since the early 90's. And not even so much when we were winning every year - that was expected. This is like how I felt when Aikman and Co. started putting it together and brought us out of the abyss. This seems like a new day is dawning. (Think about the garbage we have had since then. It's been horrific.) I always enter every season with a bit of optomisim, but it was just homerism. I knew we would never amount to anything for most of the last 10 years. This year started off that way, but something different is happening here. It might be nothing in the end, but I'm not so sure about that.
