Like I needed another reason to hate Eagle fans

Wow, this reply, again, from you.

I swear, you never bring anything to the conversation. Seriously. Every post you have made is the exact same one. It's like you copy and paste it because you can't think of anything else to say. It's kind of lame.

Dude, why did you get banned?

:laugh2: You ask him this question when he is banned? LOL

Ummm, I'll let you in on a little secret, when a person is banned, they are not going to be able to see anything on the forum. I really thought an Eagle fan would be smart enough to understand THAT. BUT, I expected way too much...

they don't understand OT rules. How would they understand this kind of thing?

There is no team I despise more than these guys.

I used to live in that area and had a company on Tasker St. in Phily. there are the worst kind of people there and their football team mirrors them.

I really don't think he was looking for anyone to answer his question. The question was a statement more than an inquiry. I didn't know Timbo2st was bannished.

I'm pretty sure I'll be blasted for giving my two cents, but each year when it comes time fir Dallas to play the Eagles, here comes the science-fiction story to garner sympathy for the lone Cowboy's fan and to make a monster out of the Eagles fan by exploiting the stigma.

Alright let's say the bar scenario is true, here's what I read ...

This paints the picture of the die-hard fan (could be any fan; just happens to be Dallas which many of you will automatically relate to. So far it's all good!

At this point, the story-teller introduces alcoholic Beverages and fans wearing rival team attire (that just happens to be Eagles/Phillies attire); while Atlanta ...no Falcon attire mentioned ...hmmm. But that;s the way it is.

Good guy - bad guy. This was obviously an environment of people who may/may not have been influenced by alcohol or encouraged by a wager between friends, etc

You smiled? Listen, I don't care what franchise affiliation you belong to, under the circumstances that you purport, this isn't football, this is you being bullied, insulted and battered - enter the authorities or the bouncer or other concerned friends of yours (what happened to your friends?) You guys haven't even started drinking ...level heads prevail!

Perhaps your smiling was one of the wisest things to do when confronted by a billigerent "drunk."

You YOU ...not your friends webt to jail because of a billigerent drunk that you should have walked away from ...but you stood in there like a noble fan defending your team ...please, this is just too unreal! But ok let's finish this scenario out ...

Out of this whole mess, you are not interested in getting compensated from this guy and there were no witnesses (e.g., your friends, bystanders unaffiliated with football, etc). Ok, but how does "I Love my Team" come into all of this. I'll bet that there are Cowboy and other team fans that would have handled this whole situation completely differently.

By the way you said you spent ten (10) days in jail ...for what (fighting?)

Look, the Eagle fans already have a terrible record - I even know that! This little scenario only makes you look like the big-time fan to your franchise fans, while doing absolutely nothing to taint an already targeted Eagles fan base.

What's the point. There are a hundred of corrected via edit sotries) stories in this city ...this was just one of them (Quote from Dragnet ...the TV series)

Good luck on Sunday, Cowboy fans ...just not as much luck as for the Eagles!

PT ...BTW ...I don't drink!

Woooowww Idk if I should be impressed or sad that you put that much effort to write all of that. first things first beofre you try to sound smart you might wanna make sure you read everything correctly. the facts in the story is that A. Eagle fans are dumb, rude and in most cases stupid. B. the only reason why i didn't crack his face open was because I'm not as stupid and worthless in life to fight and kill someone over a comment and neither are my friends.just a little outside info on me and the idiot who wanted to fight me I'm 6'2 245lb 24yr old the guy talking **** was a 5'8 maybe 185 32-35 yr old loser who slurred his words and was obviously trying to impress his friends. but back to my point. you come on this board to chime in your unwanted 2 cents because your obviously a lonely man who enjoys the fact that you feel invincible online because in the real world you avg at best. your life, your team maybe even your girl/boy friend is just simply avg. so here's an idea i think most would agree with the next time you see something here and you get the sudden urge to say something that your so sure is going to sound smart or funny or whatever how about you just let ig go because 9 times out of ten people are just going to read your dribble and put you in the same category as we put the kids who eat glue or the ladies with 30 cats. save yourself the time and effort

P.S. see anyone can just act like they know you. your not the only one who can do that

Personal insults ...?

Listen, I've already been told to lighten up on this thread, so I feel limited in what I can say hence forth. But I think it's safe to say that there are thousands of Eagle fans who feel exactly about your team fans as you do about them. Believe it or not, I'm not one of them.

Let's just allow our teams to do their talking on the gridiron tonight.

Looks like your team spoke the loudest on the gridiron ...fortunately no major injuries.

Congratulations.

Back when the Eagles playes the Saints in Week 2, I went to a bar that I had never been to and it was an Eagles bar. As the Saints are killing the Eagles, some Eagles fan decides to, out of nowhere for no reason whatsoever, smash his beer mug into the face of a Lions fan who had never said a word to him the entire day.

According to the Eagles fan, he thought he was going to get sucker punched by the Lions fan, even though everybody at the bar said that the Lions fan didn't bother soul the entire game.

The Lions fan had to be taken out by ambulance and from what I saw, his entire face was bloodied up bad. The cops arrested the Eagles fan, but I can only hope they gave him a little basement justice for the Lions fan.

It was a good game. the eagles always bring it when they face the cowboys (the record shows that) can't wait for the second game

3 dolloar cafe in lawrenceville. most of the time its a cool place to hangout and throw back a few but last night it was filled with philly fans

There is a Dallas Cowboys Meetup group in Atlanta. Their meeting place is posted on the Internet, usually off exit 8 on highway 400. I know it's a drive, but at least you're not outnumbered by angry hostile drunks there.

McCray's in Lawrenceville I think is a better bar than 3 Dollar Cafe..

And to toot Snellville's horn, Summit Tavern has about 150 beers on tap and screens of every game.

That is one amazing story. The very fact the guy was a Lions fan means he probably wasn't offensive.

I love it when Eagles fans come around moaning about how mean other fans are for making their fans look bad. It's not our fault that some of your fan base (most certainly not all as I've met quite a few really good Eagles fans in my day) go out of their way to make the entire fanbase look stupid.

This story doesn't surpise me at all. Most Eagles fan's that I've seen at bars (and just about anywhere else, really) are about the worst people you'll find...bottom of the barrel.

I was on vacation and watching the Tampa game in a sports bar in Telluride, CO (wearing my Witten jersey), and the Eagles fans, who knew I was there, were more interested in booing the Cowboys and shouting insults at me than in what their own team was doing.

It's was pathetic behavior, but par for the course.

Seriously, **** the Eagles and their fans.
