IMO we go as far as our line takes us. Their play and execution determine the success of our offense for everyone involved.

And we were wasting years of a franchise QB, that has left a very bad taste in my mouth with Jerry. Look how long it took between Troy and Romo.

That can be said about many teams, look at Denver, SF, Miami, Buffalo, Oakland, Washington, NYJ, Jacksonville, Cincy, Tenn, etc. Finding a franchise QB is a crap shoot that is why they get paid

I sort of agree with this, but what this article meant is that even with this great OL we have no shot without Romo, The last 3 years we had an awful Defense, running game an OL play but yet we had a shot at winning the division because of Romo.

Granted, this year because the talent level around the QB has gotten better, primarily on Defense and OL, we have a much better shot to win the division and make some noise in the playoffs.

I agree that Romo is elite and under appreciated. If Staubach says so that should be enough for everyone. But Romo got the new back injury to begin with because we couldn't handle the blitz. Leary and Free come back and suddenly the train starts rolling again.

Romo can make things happen even when he isn't well protected, and I suppose that is the point of the article -- we were in it when we really shouldn't have been. But we aren't contenders unless Romo has time in the pocket.

So let's hope QB is on our radar next year. We can't continue to live on "hope".

Same way with any other team. The qb is the most important piece to the puzzle. It's the NFL

Well, if Romo has a bad game, then yes QB is the most important piece. When he's good (as he's been mostly this year) then who knows what Troll Blazer thinks... he's nowhere to be found.

I said in a different thread that Romo is at his peak right now. He has most of the physical skills he always had, but now he has the maturity and patience he lacked when he started. And now, finally, he has a solid team behind him.... I just wish the defense were more solid... Like someone said, I hope it's not too late. If he can last another season or two he may finally get his due. He truly deserves it.

Multiple likes. This is going to make for some angry Boys fans but this is the Romo Parcells envisioned.
Not the superstar have to carry the team Romo he said he didn't want to see.
Now I'm really going to anger some folks, I think JG sees it the same way. Just couldn't get there fast enough.

I agree. Tony only has a few seasons in him unless he stays perfectly clean. Now's the time to find the next QB.

This isn't news.

The Dallas Cowboys have gone as Romo goes for years now. This isn't anything new. It's simply a dumb media person finally catching up.

The idea that the team goes as Romo goes has been true since practically the minute he first stepped on the field against the Giants jn 2006. Nice to see the media starting to figure it out.

Lol lame.

Like I said last time you tried spewing your BS, if you are going to reply to my post, at least be accurate and try to provide a counter argument. I'm not getting into a pissin contest with you. I value my time too much to argue with an idiot.

But we were contenders (NFC East) from 2011 to 2013 with not much protection (in 2013 it wasn´t so bad), but I agree, for this team to actually contend for a SB we need those 5 guys to play outstanding.

That was clearly the case Sunday in AZ and last night in Philly, unlike the Cowboys they can´t win without their starting QB. SMH
Some QB´s are much more valuable than others.

Eventually when you play a good team, without your starting qb, you will lose. When is the last time a backup won anything meaningful?

Every team in the league will go as far as their QB takes them. That's the NFL.

Yeah, troll... you can send me a link to all of your positive Romo posts. I'm sure it's a huge list. But I can't seem to find a one. Oh wait, I just ran into your pro-Weeden posts. That didn't work out, did it now? Disappear, troll. No one will miss you.

I don't think of winning the east at 9-7 or 10-6 as real contenders. Our 13-3 year we had a top 10 defense. It doesn't much matter. We aren't doing much without Romo...

I root for whichever qb is playing. But yeah, that was a fail lol.

There is your positive romo post. Since you asked. Now go play in the corner. Like I said I don't have the time to go in circles with an idiot. I'm sure they make medication for your problems. You don't have to take it out on ppl over the Internet lol. Talk football or don't reply to my posts, clown.
