You mean to say that other teams' draft picks don't always work out?

He was a 2nd rd pick right? And the Stealers always get high marks for their drafts.

You mean it is not just the Cowboys who make mistakes in the draft?

Who'd a ever thunk it?

No more Texas receivers... :bang2:

What does it matter which school he went to? To me that is about as silly of an arguement as there is. If a player has talent then you go by that talent not where he went to school. USC has had some of the all time great OL players they have also had some duds the school they went to means little.

Not too bad.

Sam Hurd can make those kind of blocks, too. Those are the easy blocks when the defender does not see it coming. How is he when the defender is in his face?

Limas Sweed-WR- Steelers Mar. 7 - 2:26 pm et

According to the National Football Post, Limas Sweed "doesn't have a future with the Steelers."

It's notable that the team is conducting business as if Sweed isn't even on the roster. With Santonio Holmes, Hines Ward, and Mike Wallace locked in as receivers Nos. 1-3, the Steelers pursued Arnaz Battle as a potential No. 4 and special teams help. Sweed may not even make the club out of training camp.

I find those types of blocks sissyfied.

But players love them when they have a guy setup for a big hit. Nothing sweeter than to know you have a blind side shot and de-cleat the man

So true but speaking from a former CB, I hated those types of blocks... That block was very deadly tho. HE STILL CAN'T A COLD lol.

Had my bell rung a couple of times on plays like that when I played safety in high school and college. You get locked into the target then out of the blue you are air born and flat on your back. That's are right though because you know you will get a chance at payback at some point in the game. As for Sweed I would pass on him.
