I'm sure most of you have heard of her since the ucf victory last night... She's basically another Katherine Webb and Lauren tannehill. This trend is really annoying me. Listen, I love attractive women like any other guy but this is getting ridiculous. Star qb's girlfriend/or random attractive girl gets spotted on espn and the commentator makes a comment about how attractive she is then all of the sudden "x girl" becomes a overnight celebrity and gets jobs on tv. Oh and they are always "aspiring models." Oh and let's not forget that one girl that Brett farve tried having an affair with too. This is why I hate the fact that Kim kardashian is "famous" (sex on film with ray j) Paris Hilton is "famous" for the same thing (sex on film) that one girl from teen mom who starred in an adult film which she hired a company to produce to make it seem like a home movie and even Pamela Anderson to an extent with tommy lee. This is why I loathe social media so much and the double standard of women who have to do something provocative then post it all over the Internet to start a "career." What happened to the time where women could be "lady's" and be famous on their merits rather then what they are willing to do in front of a camera!?

Sorry rant over.

Ps the fact that I even know these non celebrity "Aspiring models" names tells you that this trend is stupid and they shouldn't be famous unless it's on their own merits, which don't require bikini/boob pics on Twitter Instagram and etc.

What is that old line? "I'll respect you in the morning." That is what jumps to my mind in these situations.

Brett Favre's girl sexting target's name is Jenn Sterger. Can anyone think of another audience member turned instant celebrity from the same situation before Sterger, or was she the first? She's certainly the first one I remember.

I'm going to defend some of these girls a bit though. A lot of these girls only get 15 minutes and that's it. Anyone remember UCLA "superfan" Lauralee McIntyre? She was an instant sensation

The ones that last were actually already accomplished, and/or made something of themselves.

--Sterger used the platform become a journalist for some website (bustedcoverage?) and eventually worked her way up. sure it probably helped that she was 'that girl', but it always helps to have connections anyway; that's not exclusive to good looking women.

--Katherine Webb was actually Miss Alabama already, and finished top 10 in 2012 Miss USA. Interest blew up for her after that game, but she was already accomplished before that and was able to maintain interest because of her pageant-ness (I had a hard time finding a word for that... she's PR ready, basically).

--Kate Upton is a name you didn't mention, but she blew up after being caught on camera doing the dougie at a Clippers game, but she was an accomplished equestrian and also an accomplished model at the time as well.

I don't fault the women at all. The beauty only lasts a little while for most and the women have to strike when the iron is hot. They have a valuable commodity and have to cash in while they can. Just like most of the jocks playing football and other sports. Take away their athleticism and you are most likey left with some idiot who couldn't hold a job at Walmart or even come close to scoring with beautiful women.

I don't know who any of the first 3 you mentioned are, knew nothing about teen mom, and never knew why kim k was famous...it's really not hard to avoid caring and knowing about all that.

They are high school sweethearts, .. I love it.

I wish them well, .. they will have some tough times.

My wife and I were high school sweethearts, 17 & 16 yrs old, .. even though we went to different high schools and our schools were rivals.

42 yrs ago, .. can't beat it.

I know the P word is not all approiate. But I don't like how people who are useless keep themselves in the spotlight and others soak it up.

Lindsay no brains.
Kim fat cakes.
and who ever else.

This quote has been popping up around the internet a ton lately, but it's simple and accurate:

"Stop Making Stupid People Famous."

I wish there would be a concerted effort for that.

My point is who cares.....

That's just the way it is.

When I read your post, .. "But I don't like how people who are useless keep themselves in the spotlight and others soak it up., .. my first thought was Miley Cirus. In my eyes, and in my opinion she is "useless", but others seem to soak it up.

And yet she can spell Lindsey correctly.

I thought he may have been talking about Lindsay Lohan because I thought he was playing on the sound of Lohan with 'No brains', but I may be over thinking it.

She does in fact spell her name Lindsay.

LOL, .. Maybe I jumped to that conclusion since the thread was about Lindsey. If so, I was wrong.

Lohan is at least an actress or something, he was talking about people that were in the spotlight without doing anything.
