Gotta disagree on Pam Anderson and Kate Upton. They were already famous prior to either of the events mention in this thead.

Anderson was already a Star from Baywatch and was already a cover girl from Playboy, prior to the release of the tapes so I don't really think you can attribute here success to that.

Upton, prior to the Clippers dougie whatever, was already a famous Model, having been in Sports Illustrarted's Swim Suit Addition and the Face of Guess. Upton was famous well before the whole Clippers thing.

Thanks... that actually just answered my question that I had earlier by reminding me of Pamela Anderson. Jenn Sterger was NOT the first one for sure, because Pamela Anderson found success pretty much the exact same way about 15 years beforehand.

Pam was seen in the audience of a Canadian league football game and her stardom took off from there.

But you're right about Upton. She gained more notice from others after the clippers game video, but she was definitely established by then.
