First time I've heard Choice criticized like that.
For a guy whose running style is actually compared to Barber's, "goes down too easily" is a strange comment.

Yea, its hard not to buy the mags even though you know 4 guys from here could put out a better one in about 30 minutes with a 200 dollar pc.

Its like refusing chocolate cake even if it isn't your mother's chocolate cake....
That is exactly true too.

4 (122) Tashard Choice, RB, Georgia Tech
Transfer from Oklahoma who made decent impact for Tech...Goes down a bit too easily, but is good on cutbacks...Sees the field well and doesn't give up on plays...Has had knee problems...Could be a quality receiver on 3rd downs...A project.

Before all the trading down, I think they were looking at Steve Slaton. A back similar to Felix. And a potential rerturn man. I dont think Choice was the worst case scenario. But they dont seem to be gushing over him like some of the other picks.....
They have shown the war room coverage and they wanted Choice all along but wanted to take him in the fourth. (They wanted a guy similar Barber to be the backup not a scatback) Jerry has said recently that they were interested in Oline in the third but nobody was there that fit that spot. Also in the war room footage they were interested in OT Anthony Collins in the fourth but decided to get next years pick instead since they felt they could find better prospects next season.

I think Jeremy Zuttah out of Rutgers was another guy they were interested in. Versatile linemen could play both guards and center. Would of been a swing back up this year and maybe start at LG some day. But the Bucs snagged him up

Yeah, when Jerry said they were looking at OL in the third but missed out I looked to see who went and Jeremy Zuttah stood out to me too.
