Linebackers coach

Jim Haslett was one of the coaches he spent time with at The Barn breaking down film.
Scott McCurley was the other and was on his staff in GB...so I just figured he'd bring both along...Haslett with LBs and McCurley as quality control.

Would love that. Haslett as LB coach is a big upgrade.

The fact these guys have been in a brain trust working on their coaching perspectives together is pretty cool. Would love to see what they can do with the talent on this roster— not to mention who they add/subtract in FA and the draft

Haven’t been this excited for a Cowboys offseason in ages.

Would loved to have set in on those meetings
Would have been very cool and informative

amen to that.

Kevin Greene coached LBs for the Packers and helped develop Clay Matthews. It was a while ago.

does it matter? he was DC. I live here in Washington and from what I remember, he wasn't liked at alll
His job here would be coaching LB not running the defense
Appears he was pretty good at it in New Orleans
They moved him to DC then HC so guess they liked him
He wasn’t a good HC but he wiould have one role, coaching LB’s and MM obviously has a great relationship with him
He was one of the coaches he worked with during his time off

Jim Haslett comes here as LB coach? I'm just not going to wake up because this is one dream turning into a realistic fantasy.

Who's next at DB coach? Leslie Frazier?

How could these players say they're under coached?

How could this defense not create turnovers? At that point it's the players.

I'm pretty sure you're being sarcastic, because there's no way he'd step down for such a super demotion from his current position.

Right?

Nolan turned the LB core in New Orleans into one of the best in the league (if not the best), I would just let him handle that role if that's an option.

So we still need LB, Safety, CB, TE, WR, and RB coaches is that right?

Here's a quote from an all pro London Fletcher who was a LB under him

Earlier this month, former Commanders linebacker London Fletcher, speaking on CBS' pregame show, called Haslett "clueless."

"[Haslett] would take the '85 Bears defense and turn them into a mediocre defense," Fletcher said. "He has no idea what he's doing. He's proven year in and year out that he's not a good defensive coordinator."

You will be happy to know he won’t be DC here

Haslett will be the new LB coach unless something changes last minute. ANYONE is better than Ben Bloom.
