If you watch film of 49ers with Samuels in the backfield the plays going wide. Neal out was laughed at in the forum prior to game it was dismissed . Well the edge was a sea of Red as time after time the edge belonged to SF.

LVE had one of his better games I suppose but the bar this year was set low so ….Parsons had his hands full all game did what he could . Cox hurt out missing huge part of the year really hurt. His speed and physical play would have really helped sideline to sideline.

Given the roster with prob LVE & Neal gone in 22 this club is once again looking LB in the draft and here’s hoping a Jabril Cox type can be found rounds three through five because I see OLine in Will McClays shopping cart early & often .

The team needs to add 2 fast aggressive LBs. And hopefully Cox is back healthy. Maybe 1 solid FA and 1 draft pick.

Does it matter what we add when the QB is just going to go into a shell and provide no offense in a big game?

All Dallas should be thinking about is creating the best Oline in the history of the universe.

LVE had a better game than Parsons, which was not the norm. Dallas should re-sign LVE for 4 years and draft at least one LB this year and sign a few undrafted LBs.

Dallas should build the roster to allow Parsons to be the 5th pass rusher. I hope the coaching staff utilizes Parsons full potential and builds the roster to highlight his skill-set.

Re-sign the guy who played like a zombie for 13 games out of 17????

One name I've seen shoot up the LB draft board is Chad Muma from Wyoming.

Supposedly he received one of the highest run defense grades last year in the NCAA. Not a supreme athlete but scouting reports say he's athletic enough and has the smarts on the field.

If we miss on the late 1st/early 2nd LBs from Georgia, Utah and Penn State he seems like a decent option depending on BPA.

I think offensive line has to be the #1 priority. We have to have an effective running game or this offense is going nowhere.

No way. LVE is at least 2 steps slower from 2 years ago. You can get younger, faster, and better there through the later rounds in the draft. Love the guy but his candle is about burned out.

i would expect this spot to see some draft attention.
maybe not early...but in the mid rounds unless there is one you just cant pass up...like chris harris, alabama.
jabril cox tho cant be forgotten.
and if they can re-sign LVE to a team friendly deal...with parsons and cox on board...that makes me feel better about this group.

As for LBs, speed kills and we lacking in that area.

I would re sign Neal before I offered LVE a drop of $$. Fans need to stop drinking Jerry’s Kool aid , the LVE Connor Williams of this roster good bye .

Eh Cox looked more like a finesse LB, maybe rookie year learning curve, when I read he is coverage stud I do not expect him to lay wood as a run support guy. As unpopular as it may sound bring back LVE or Neal, I would lean towards LVE, you need true LBers for depth, if they Re-Sign Kearse they have two guys that can do Neals job in passing and running game.

Catch I realize your love for Dak but this team needs LB’s too. Currently we have Parsons and Cox signed. We need a slew of them.

LVE had a nice game I will not lie. But Micha is just different when he was tackling the other day. Every thing he tackles just stops full force.

So LVE finally plays like a real starting LB on Sunday and we're supposed to overlook the other 80% of the games this season he was slow and afraid to take on contact? Not to mention the other very underwhelming seasons here in Dallas. Sorry, I cant fall for that trap. Dallas needs to move on.

Can you read? Good God, not every thread needs to be derailed into a crap on Dak thread.

I honestly could see keeping LVE if we can still pick up another LB or two for depth. We need to free up Parsons to travel wherever he can play.

As bad as LVE played Neal was more of a disappointment, he was supposed to be that coverage/box safety disguised as a linebacker and sucked at both. Re-signing LVE is less than ideal but since FA is before the draft you have to decide do you want the devil you know or a devil you dont.
