as most know he turned down the SF offensive coordinator job. STL Post Dispatch is reporting he will probably be OC with Tampa Bay, and an outside chance he could be OC for Rex Ryan with the Jets, once he's officially named.

I wouldn't mind Shannahan. He's young and well steeped. He's had a great person to talk football with. The idea of mingling his offense with the one we have intrigues me. Of course his father can come, too.

I think Jason will be ok this year. Surely he's smart enough to adjust. Going to be an interesting offseason.

Jagodzinksi is probably going to Seattle per Mortsensen. I think Dennison ended up staying on Denvers staff.

Or maybe Kyle Shanahan? His only drawback is age and limited experience. Otherwise, he's done a heck of a job w/ the Texans offense and I would love to bring this kid aboard.

I meant as JG's OC, as someone hypothetically brought up in an earlier post.

And yes, he is under contract w/ the Texans, so he would have to be brought in as an assistant head coach. Not likely to happen considering his age and limited experience, but I personally would welcome the move. The Texans were ranked #3 overall in total offense. He did a terrific job w/ Slaton, a rook who amassed 1500+ total yards. He's grown up w/ a dad who's considered one of best offensive minds.

He may end up here anyway. I got a weird feeling Jerry is going to do the "consultant" thing like he did when Bruce Coslet was here in 2001-2002.
