i mean jason garett won a coach of the year. it's almost as if having loads of talent makes guys awesome. this guy was a babbling laughingstock talking about biting kneecaps and what not not too long ago.I’m not going to be critical of Dan Campbell while we have 15 years plus of garbage head coaching.
wonder what its like to even be in that positionI love what Campbell has done but he's going to cost his team a playoff game with some of these decisions.
Run it back, again.I'm just saying......Wouldn't shock me if Jerra looked his way
Close, that's a start.Jason Witten HC
Tony Romo OC
Sean Lee DC
Jerry's dream coaching staff.
Yes. Let's get a guy with no NFL or even college coaching experience. If you wanna be an NFL coach, a good idea is to spend some time as an NFL assistant coachYeah.....or Nay? Comments? I can see this being the next great Jerry move.....
I will let Newt emphasize just how much:Let's face it...until we get rid of Rowdy, nothing is going to make a difference
But, but they both played TE and Witten as better!!!Dan Campbell before his HC gig:
- Miami Dolphins (2010)
Coaching intern- Miami Dolphins (2011–2015)
Tight ends coach- Miami Dolphins (2015)
Interim head coach- New Orleans Saints (2016–2020)
Assistant head coach & tight ends coach
Jason Witten before the Cowboys anoint him HC
- Coaching a private school in Texas high school division II
Looks the same to me.
He costed them a SB visit last year. They had the game won.I love what Campbell has done but he's going to cost his team a playoff game with some of these decisions.
He’s already cost them a Super Bowl visitI love what Campbell has done but he's going to cost his team a playoff game with some of these decisions.
Yes, because of the players they had they still had one of the better offenses, but what history tells us is that there are three ways to win Super Bowls: Have an elite offense, have an elite defense or have a balanced team (both in the upper half/top 10). I believe we had a few years where we had the components for an elite offense and Garrett's philosophy held us back. It was still good enough to make us a playoff team, but then we couldn't contend because we weren't innovative against the better defenses while their offenses beat up on our defenses. They still had one of the better offenses. Yes if they would have had a more innovative guy it could have been better but they were top 10, what they really lacked was a good DC. If that offense could have just gotten a little help could have made a world of difference.
