Lions or Cowboys

Problem is, the cap doesn't need fixen. It's a lazy excuse, like you said. For some reason, they don't wanna spend.
Exactly. How many times over the years have we heard that other NFCE teams were going to held prisoner by the cap for years only to never suffer the consequences at all? The Cowboys cap people just suck.

The Lions haven’t won a title in 67 years, it’s worse to be a Lions fan.

Especially the lions fan that got a lions sb lix champs tattoo before the game yesterday

The moments and day after the Lions were upset by the team from Washington ( which will always be called the Commanders),
what fan base is upset more?

Lions had a wonderful season, with the record number of wins in a regular season.
They captured the #1 seed only to get knocked out in the 1st rd as the Cowboys did in 2023.

Detroit fans had high hopes in a loooooooong time only to have them crushed.
Meanwhile, Dallas fans sees their former DC Dan Quinn turn an organization around, with a rookie QB, in one season
In addition, taking with him many former Cowboys players to Washington with him to get to their 1st NFC Conference game in 33 years

Cowboys were not even in the playoffs, but watching what Commanders did to the Lions and advancing was equally crushing as
last seasons home playoff embarrassment to the Packers.

It's better for Cowboys fans that Washington won. 1. It moves Washington to the back of the draft.
2. It puts more pressure on Jerry to do better in 2025.

Colors are similar as well

.....I have family in South Detroit....one just flew home yesterday morning, after coming foe my daughter's wedding. They are disappointed, but appreciative for the team and season. I'm sure they have their ignorant fans too? Every fanbase does. Except for the Cowboys......of, course.
There is a long line of Cowboys fans in here with mental health issues.

No doubt has to be tough for the Lions fans. Finally it looked like they had a team that could go all the way and laid an egg. I have empathy there, as the Cowboys have done the same the last few decades.

Yep. It's that simple.

My upset rank:
  1. Dallas
  2. Detroit
Divisional winners should always win in the wild card round. It should have been a 'sure win' for the Cowboys. Green Bay should have been dead on arrival (e.g. had no chance) playing on the road.

The Lions were the number one overall seed and played at home. Washington proved they had a chance of upsetting any regular season division winner by advancing to the divisional round.

Flashback to last year: Green Bay did not do to the 49ers on the road what Washington did to Detroit this postseason. 2024's Packers should not have advanced. They did.

Additionally, the playoff bracket expansion to seven teams per conference is very recent but past results are still notable. Sixth seeds have made it to their conference championship rounds and even the Super Bowl.

Although records are meant to be broken, a seventh seed should never advance. Green Bay disproved then re-affirmed that notion in back-to-back NFC postseason appearances as a seventh seed. Dallas should have made certain the Packers seventh seeded postseason streak should still be 0-2.
Correct.

That GB team in 23 was going absolutely nowhere and everyone knew it

Washington has a legit shot to make the Super Bowl

The Cowboys will never feel the Lions pain. They have 5 championships while the Lions have never even been to a Super Bowl. The Lions two greatest players quit on them and the best QB they’ve had in their history was traded away and went on to win a Super Bowl with someone else. The Lions history sucks!
Lions had nowhere to fall and not as painful. Cowboys were America's Team, and not from tv ratings. Epic champs with rich and storied history and fell harder than Icarus.

Way more painful. I quote "sadder still to watch it die than never to have known it".

Cowboys was worse….with all the injuries to the Lions D I had a feeling it would catch up with them at some point. The Cowboys didn’t have the injury bug, they just got plastered.

Well we did have the injury bug.. but I agree about the Lions.

Serious question , losing the turnover battle 5-0 to a team with a rookie QB and memory lane had Goff directing the Rams to 3 points in the SB against NE can Campbell and that organization win a SB with Goff ? A lot has to go right to be 15-2 and # 1 seed then it’s down the drain .

On the other end of that spectrum when he escapes Detroit goes west Stafford does get the SB win and came close today to hosting a NFCCG
