For me when all the team mates are cheering for you [after you have left the team]
that speaks leadership. This is a high character guy now lets see him play ball.

Says something about their leadership if their third string QB was a leader.

I don't think it is a fair evaluation situation to how good of a backup he will be. It will basically be like a preseason game where the opposition is playing a good portion of their first string defense and it is very likely the gameplan will be to protect him from that.

Of course you can tell something. He's on the field playing NFL football. SMH

So if he looks terrible, will you throw down the lack of supporting cast card? I bet big money you would.

JG takes his time making changes at the QB position like most coaches

Garrett could switch them every other play like Landry did with Morton and Staubach and with Red's scheme it would be the same result.

He looked pretty terrible last week and no one had any tape on him.

He looked different from Cassel, which made him "better". Just like Cassel was better than Weeden because of the novelty.

Everybody liked Rudy too. He just wasn't good enough or big enough.

If Rudy was 50-3 in big time college football with 15k yards passing then I would agree with the comparison.

Not saying Moore can or can't do it....I just prefer to let someone show me if his past success will translate at this level.

How about 4 years and 0 snaps in the Pros. Weeden had a great college career as well.

Tony Romo didn't get a professional pass until his 4th season also.
He also wasn't drafted.

Again not saying Moore is Romo or even worth caring about. Just better examples of small players to compare him to than Rudy. Maybe Ty Detmer (6 foot 190).

But regardless he deserves the chance to succeed or fail. He may have been a system QB in college but his number are impressive enough that he is still in the league 4 years later.

Assuming we're using 3 spots on QB next year, I'd like to give Kellen an opportunity to win the backup spot. I think it's between him and RG3 (hope not) and Manziel. Give the 3rd spot to a draft pick (hopefully Carson Wentz in the second.)

It was awfully kind of them all but from what I saw today I'm not that impressed with Moore.
