Detroit put up 36 on Oakland, 20 on Minnesota, 21 on Philadelphia, and 37 on Chicago. That is 4 pretty good defenses right there....why couldn't they figure out what isn't so hard?

Detroit put up 3 on Washington. The #1 passing offense in the NFL got held to 106 yards passing. Give credit where credit is due.

we sure missed that Commanders logic for the past 2 weeks while you all where "away" congratulations on beating the mighty Lions :lmao:

Seriously, the Commanders rushed only 4 all day, and sacked Kitna and was in his face all day. That is more a testament to how badly the Detroit sucks at providing any sort of protection for their QB. They have no line.

Also, if it weren't for Griese pretty much handing the ball to Detroit twice in the red-zone the prior week, Detroit would have been in no position to run off that many points against Chicago in the 4th quarter.

Detroit is a joke.

People were overrating Detroit, they do that every year with that team.

Williams had a good game plan coming in -- sit back in coverage; pressure w/ the dline; play deep zone coverage, and force them to beat you with short passes and let them run the ball, because their running backs aren't anything special.

Those chuck and duck offenses will eventually catch up with you. You need balance to compete in the NFL.
