From what I read somewhere, Roy Williams (strong safety #31) asked Jerry to let him retire as a Cowboy with a one-day ceremonial contract sometime down the road, and Jerry said, "Consider it done."

Ratliff is a obvious choice aswell...Elite player, playing out of his ideal position and you don't hear a peep.

Although I believe you were poking fun, I totally agree that Ladouceur should retire a Cowboy after many more years of service.

I thought we'd never have another like Dale Hellestrae after his 11 years in Dallas. Of course, he didn't start his career in Dallas or finish it there, and Ladouceur probably will retire a year too late as well.

I was asking.. I didn't follow football too closely then, as I was like 10 when he was a Cowboy, and by the time I really understood the game, he had rapidly declined

Mmm...those are the only players I would include at this time.

yes, as all the others listed have not had enough years yet.
I would like to see Dez, T. Smith [even though he hasn't played a down yet], Miles [still needs a few more years at least, maybe 3].
I would like to new Tnew as a few people said. I think he will have a nice year in 2011.
Eventually Free, but also needs a few more years.
