Bring on the newbies and the young wannabes! After all, it's one aspect of preseason that makes it so much doggone fun to watch.

Now hear this: it's just 1 more week (7 measly days) 'til the Dallas Cowboys meet the LA Rams in preseason game #1. Yeah, baby!

Yeah, there aren't any slam dunks here. What I believe we are witnessing is the development of depth before our very eyes. Guys like Russell, Irving, and Tapper may not be world beaters on their own. But I think before it's over this could be a very solid 8 man rotation.

I haven't heard a peep about Benson Mayowa, the guy we got from the raiders....what is up with him?

He on pup for a sore knee.. Hasn't been practicing. Don't worry, you'll hear enough of him when he's back. A buddy of mine is a die-hard Raiders fan and he was upset when we stole him. He said Mayowa seemed to have found his stride last year and was looking forward to a good year..

The thing I like about a lot of these guys is they have prototype size and speed.

Yea, but this group, even without Gregory, Mayowa, Crawford, and Collins...at present, are mixing it up pretty well with a top shelf offensive line.

We have not been seeing anything from our dline the last two years, once the pads come on. The positive signs we are seeing/hearing about our young dline this season is encouraging.

To my knowledge everyone has reported not just the guys you have listed above. Rolondo would be the only person who has not shown up that I know of.

He's just a guy that's why. lol I never get into what I hear about in tc. Almost never translates into the regular season anyway.

7 or 8 sacks are still sacks...get that many from 2 or 3 other players as well, plus add 3 to 5 from a few others....that is good....

Dang 7-8 sacks from him is phenomenal. If he got 8 sacks, that would be one of the best deals the Cowboys made in the off season.
