I'd like to see your DE's flip sides and Looney be a backup later on in the season. But everything else is good, IMO.

I know Looney did a good job in 2018, but Zeke only had 6 rushing TD's that year.

And Gregory was only suspended for drugs. That suspension doesn't exist anymore, so he will be available week one.

I agree with all yours.

Awuzie over Woods at FS is a hope that would give us a lot more speed. I don't know if he can get up to speed in a screwed up offseason.

Biadasz and McGovern at C and LG is another hope. Not unreasonable hope, but we gotta see them play. Having Williams as a backup opens him up as the swing T, or at least backup LT, with Knight as backup RT. Then we're totally set for starters and backups along the oline for the next couple of years.

Williams still might be better at LG than McGovern, though. Leaves us thin at backup T. Maybe we find a vet cap casualty for swing T. Erving looks bad, IMO.

Goodell could screw Gregory again, but if he's reinstated, he's our starter in snaps if not the first snap of every game.

Yall going overboard with the Chido at safety talk. Nickel corner is more realistic.

I think Williams and Looney represent the floor for those two spots, and it's not a terribly low floor. It would not be ideal, but if the other three still play at a Probowl level, we should be fine.

The reason I think Biadasz actually stands a decent chance to start over Looney, at some point of the year, is that if he had come out after 2018 he is probably a 2nd round pick, or even higher. His 2019 tape was down a bit, but he was also dealing with two injuries. If he is fully healed and is back to his 2018 form, he has a very good chance to beat out Looney.

Also, Biadasz will get the push if it's close. He's the future. The faster we start, the sooner the future gets brighter.

Reasonable to doubt Chido can take a spot from Woods, especially since we're not in the development business for either this year.

But if Chido can get close, he probably gets the start as the better athlete and likely better overall FS as the year goes on.

Multi-runthreat offense. Look at all that speed. All the deep threats. All the open field running. All while keeping Zeke in to pound up the middle. A run-gun with two extra runners for a misdirection run threat.

Lots of jet sweep motion with Lamb and Pollard. Pollard lining up in the backfield, used for Noah Brown type blocking assignments too.

I like Jarwin, but I like Pollard more. Probably bring Jarwin back for the redzone.

For the fifth man, I like *all* our options: Jarwin, Pollard, Olawale. They all contribute to both run and pass. If we want to go full run and gun, go Devin Smith.

Then there's the full track team:
WR-Cooper
WR-Gallup
WR-Smith
WR/RB-Lamb
RB/WR-Pollard

I don't think he'll be able to press as well as the staff would like him too.

so we are playing cover 1 press man every play?

doubt it.

he can jam the WR and play trail technique.

he’s our best corner. Name one CB we have that’s better.

why would we move our CB1, Chido, to S ?

Draft and signings indicate they weren't satisfied with what we had as our starting CBs. Worley was the *last* brought on board. If we planned Chido starting at CB, I don't see us signing a vet for moderate money.

Meanwhile, we need more at S. Chido gives us a good athlete with some college S experience to compete with Dix and Woods. *Maybe* Wilson can compete, but he's entirely unproven, and especially unproven to the new coaches.
