For all you parcell NUTHUGGERS listen. We will see more 80's giants football next year. BP chose not to bring in veteran help for back ups at oline. He refused to get a qaulity FS. His conservative play calling will continue. I love keys heart, however he is not a premeire receiver anymore and parcells has never viewed big name receivers as a priority.

We pose no threat to DC's because we are predictable and besides glenn we have no deep threat. Witten is under used, we should be killing teams when they blitz with quick slants ala Micheal Irving or dump offs to jay novachek. If they defend the deep pass, kill them with the seam plays, if they blitz slants and draws.

BP will always be ultra conservative " big plays have a potenial for disater!" "you are what your record says you are" Please take this man to task, he is not God! Zimmer, payton, dehaven and sparano suck!!!! These are all parcell men he should be held responsible for his failures as well as his successes.

He did a good job drafting this year. He needs to be a GM somewhere other than dallas. His days as a head coach are far behind him. give him another year and we will still be far away from our goal as SUPERBOWL champions! Mark my words

Well, true, but he sounded 'different' somehow.

Maybe it's just me.
He did.

He sounded very different on Monday, too.

Usually he's completely pissed of on Mondays no matter what.
I expected him to really be that way this week for obvious reasons.

But he was calm as ever.

Strange.

If he leaves good. If his heart isn't in it anymore, we don't need him here. When he does leave, this team is gunna be in even more of a mess, not talent wise.....coaching wise.

Does anyone think Jerry will go after a top head coach if BP fails here? Jerry hasn't gotten bang for his buck. Thats not all on BP, but these past three years have looked more like a family reunion(BP guys), than a rebuilding era.

I'm not stupid, I know why we went with his old veterans. BP didn't come back to build a team, he came back to win a superbowl in a hurry.

It was strange.

He spoke like a man on an deserted island with a revolver and one bullet.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has the impression that Bill sounds like a man who has made up his mind that this is his final season.

I've listened to many of his PC's but today's just sounded like he was deep in thought or something.

Very polite but short, curt replies.

He sounded resolute.

No need to flame. Just an opinion.

For some reason, this reminds me of Jimmy J's last season in Miami. After that butt-kicking that got against Jax in that playoff game, JJ sincerly apologized to his players for OVER-working them, and subsequently resigned.

This is just me-but I'm getting this vibe about Bill P too. After last season, he took full responsibility for their disasterous season. After the last game, instead of coming out and saying "We stink!", he sincerely took full responsibility for the loss. It was as if he was implicitly apologizing to his players for over-working them to death as well, and a sign that even he thinks it may be best for the organization to move on. If this is the case, you really have to admire him.

What concerns me about Parcells is that I have heard him speak words to the affect of "I don't know how to get through to this team" several times in his tenure at Dallas.
Doesn't anyone else find it chilling that a coach of Parcells stature would mention that in public? And I am sure he has said it more than once over the past 3 years.
