Go read the Police report and let us know if you are comfortable with this guy wearing the star. The fact that Carolina is playing the "due process" card with case is a joke. The NFL should be disgusted with how the Carolina organization is handling this situation. Oh wait....

past experiences or long-held ideas regarded as burdens and impediments

is it any worse than brent?

dont get me wrong, i think the guy should be punished once the legal system plays out. but once that is over, somebody is going to give him a chance. why not us?

All defense lawyers believe their clients are going to get off at least publicly. When was the last time you heard a defense lawyer say yeah he did it and we are screwed.

That's when they take a plea.

Currently, yes. The climate is really bad for spousal abuse and the team that signs him will be getting a massive amount of heat. He has already been found guilty, so even if it is overturned on appeal he will still carry the stigma. Dallas doesn't need to be that place where it is okay to beat a woman. That is currently what you take on when you sign the Kraken.

I am not a fan of bringing Brent back either, but he is coming in.

I'm guessing if they've had any discussions like that it's because they know they have more bad on the horizon with the guy and they're getting out front of it. Which means picking him up would be a complete waste of time.

I'm sort of getting the vibe that they are Internally discussing releasing Greg Hardy . This would be a match made in heaven for us .

I can't believe I'm hearing this from myself, but I think Dallas can use one or two thugs on defense.

No thank you, they are getting ready to pounce on any of these dumb, bad judgement guys, ie; Rice, AD, Hardy, McDonald. Even Brent is gonna feel the impact.

I don't know why. I understand the circumstance but Brent was convicted and served his time. Once you pay your debt to society aren't you allowed a second chance? Or are you suppose to sit on a couch and watch TV the rest of your life?

Who would have ever thought that in the 3rd week of the season, DL Hardy, RB Rice, and RB Peterson would all be available, and cheap? Today's NFL: I would feel like this  but since it is happening to other teams it is :muttley:.

Not all of it...

Well, the stuff these guys listen to is. It sure doesn't promote treating women with respect, and it more than glorifies the gang culture.

I read the transcript of the Greg Hardy situation. He threw his girlfriend on a bed that was littered with all sorts of automatic weapons. Is that the norm? Instead of your coats, put your weapons on the bed in the guest room?

For Brent, it's more like a 9th chance.

Sure, a second chance is something to be considered. But if you were fired for the exact same issue from your place of employment, would they hire you back? Honest question...

Because the dude is in his prime and is good for 12 sacks a season .

I don't care about his personal life .

I don't care either but do you really think bringing in a guy facing this stuff given that we have a rep as a team run by an idiot who only cares about money, a distraction is really something we need right now?

If he's found guilty or faces jail time no . If he's cut because the panthers are worried about their image and he's eligible to play bring him in .
