If he's found guilty.

He was found guilty, he is appealing it. So now what do you do? Wait for the appeal process then say no if he loses? If thats the case do they we wait for the appeal process in every case or just the ones we think are right? And if he appeals to a higher court (if that is possible given circumstances), assuming he loses his original appeal, do we wait for the appeal of the appeal?

He has been found guilty. At this point his innocent until proven guilty has played out, now he is guilty until his appeal proves him innocent. I am all for letting the process play itself, but once the first verdict comes in, it kind of changes the dynamics a bit (both legally and in the court of public opinion).

Hip hop culture has its warts but domestic abuse has been happening for thousands of years. Sociologically, any negativity linkage between domestic abuse and hip hop culture is akin to throwing two ounces of gasoline on a rampaging wildfire. Hip hop culture could disappear tomorrow and domestic abuse would be just as bad a problem as it was yesterday throughout the world. If culture must be blame, one must think of a more global example.

Sure, a second chance is something to be considered. But if you were fired for the exact same issue from your place of employment, would they hire you back? Honest question...

I think you can't really make a easy comparison. If most of us get let go for some reason there's a pretty good chance there's a plethora of qualified people in our area to take that job. The same is not true of a professional athlete. How many people in the world have the ability to play DT on a NFL team? I'd guess less then 100. How many of those are easily and readily available at any given point? I'd guess less then 10. And that's not just a local number.

This must be a joke right?

No, no, I dont think it is. Its CZ. I dont think there are any jokes posted here. Although in another thread we were told that Garrett needs to be fired today and Marinelli made the new HC because he has our defense playing as a legitimate top 15 defense. AND, . . . . . . . we need to lock up Rolando McClain long term after just 2 games.

I would rather have a bad defense than sign the guy. He is not the only player that makes me feel that way.

If his lawyers think he'll be acquitted before a jury, then perhaps we don't know the real story. The Panthers were going to hold judgment until after the trial, but since domestic violence is the hot topic of the week, they had not choice.

Hardy was already found guilty in a court of law. The ruling is currently being appealed.
