I see a big mismatch in this game and was wondering how you guys think Dallas can slow it down.

Matthews vs Patmon.

Matthews is just too big for Patmon to handle out of the slot.

So then the logical thing to do would be to put Jones on Matthews right?

Well who goes on Ertz?

Do we not play Patmon much this week and use Corey White on Maythews?

Maybe use Patmon as a spy for Sproles in this game?

They scheme him open quite a bit so not sure it matters. Patmon just needs to stay on him and make the tackle.

Eh matthews doesnt really win consistently vs man converage, most of his catches are schemed open by kelly's system. thats why hes a slot player even though hes tall lol

If Patmon has trouble with him then shadow him with Byron Jones. Hitchens will get the assignment of Ertz. He's our best cover linebacker after Lee who will likely draw Darren Sproles.

Their receivers are probably the weakest part of their offense. I really wouldn't worry about that part.

Make sure to get to the ball supplier and hit him every chance , legally ... Bradford if feels the heat will make mistakes

I'm more worried about getting to Bradford. When he hears footsteps he tends to make mistakes. They are pretty thin with Gregory and Hardy out. Tank, Mincey and Crawford need big games.

We 'll need to play with a lead in order to get to him.

Our corners play soft and will let you chip at them all day.

As long as we play soft coverage Bradford doesn't even need a Oline.

3 steps and release the ball all day on us until we challenge those guys.

I said in the off-season that I didn't know about Patmon's upside because of his size; however, in TC it was obvious that he has bulked up significantly. He won one of the 9 awards for weight room gains in the off-season. Those are the guys that got the golf carts in TC as a reward. He is very physical despite his height. He's about the same size as Scandrick now.

As you mentioned, they do have options with White or Jones if they want a bigger CB against the big WR.

D Line needs to rough up China doll Bradford early and often.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Just have Wilcox or Church lay the wood on him like Wilcox did to Beckham...that will slow them down.
Maybe they will get alligator arms.

While you would like to assume that, if there is one thing the Eagles WRs are built to do is handle the middle of the field and take punishment. I do not think they shrink from contact like Beckham did.

You should be. Although he is less experienced, Collins might have the better physical skill to counter what Cox does best. There is a reason they have not come out and ruled Leary out of the game.
