I'm really, really, really hurt you don't like my numbers.:lmao:

I hope you aren't in such a bad mood because you have BP stock. That would be a real shame.:D
I don't buy individual stocks.

Actually, TheoGT is right on the money, so to speak. You're not looking at the right information to begin with. Arthur Anderson could have used more people like you.

Completely related unrelated note, a guy from Arthur Anderson gave a speech to the business department of SouthWest Texas State during the outset of the Enron debacle. Someone asked him if he thought Enron would survive. He was adamant that Enron would emerge from the situation with only PR damage and continue their legacy of a strong growth company.

I remember that question and his powerful gestures to emphasize that Enron was a very solvent corporation.

Video feed showing some really cool stuff right now. Not sure what it is. I'm pretty easily enterta....look something shiny!

Ah! They are putting a pipe cutter on one of the couplings to cut off the top of one of mangled pipes that's leaking.

BP should move out of the US and leave Obama to it

He is taking the mickey - did we british blame the americans in 88 when piper alpha killed 167 people and caused 1.5bn of environmental damage.... NO

But he keeps stressing British Petroleum whenever he can
Guess what big oil will not hurt here but british pensioners will - 1 out of every 7 £ of pension earners come from BP.

Yet again an example of the rich robbing the poor - And before you ask I do not hold any but will do if they see another 10-15% reduction

Hm... the blade is caught in the pipe now... so the 'cut and cap' process is slowed down.

This just keeps getting better.

Oil was 9 miles from Pensacola this morning, probably will be on shore by midnight tonight. We've already started the process of cancelling our vacation in July to Panama City Beach as their will most likely be oil there too.

Thanks BP!

When/If the oil reaches the pristine beaches of Florida, this thing will take an even more negative turn towards the oil companies and BP. No offense to anyone in Louisiana/Mississippi and Alabama, but when Florida beaches are covered in oil, this thing will be even more ugly.

Lol at thanks BP - From what I can see BP are the only ones trying to do anything. The other companies are distancing themselves as quickly as possible despite the fact it may likely still be their fault.

Also you have got to love the hypocrites - Do the likes of BP force people to drive large litre cars? the consumer dictates what the oil companies need to provide and the reliance on oil has led to more and more dangerous drilling to be required. The only reason these rigs exist is to a) reduce reliance on middle eastern oil and b) to keep up with the requirements of the american consumer

Thanks BP?

BP doesn't have anything to do with this now. All opf their direction is coming from the government, who said evey decision must be approved by them. So therefore, thank those who THINK they know what they are doing.
