Strictly from a mental health perspective, there is even such as thing as "recovery" as it applies to antisocial personality disorder.
Sounds like you are somewhat familiar with mental health related issues. That said, you may already know that the "Recovery" is defined is a deeply personal, unique process of changing one’s attitudes, values, feelings, goals, skills and/or roles.
Recovery is a personal process. Anyone In the mental health field can tell you that.
If you sincerely belive that Michal Vick is recovering from a mental illness, then you must also believe that he can "recover." The recovery process includes...
Hope, empowerment, support, self-help, spirituality, and employment/meanigful activities.
Playing football again is theraputic for Michael Vick. Comments like yours reflect your feeling and perspectives, are counterproductive, are anti-stigmatic, and are counterproductive to Vick's healing process and those who have mental illnesses (mental health consumers/survivors).
Just another perspective.
