Per Red in his presser. Calf for Leary, foot for Livings. Neither expected to miss much time. I hope not, we need to sort out the OL ASAP.

Leary really needs this camp to learn the offense perfectly and get some continuity with Free/Parnell. I hope this calf injury isn't something that lingers and makes him miss a bunch of time and costs him the starting guard position.

Anyone sign Moore yet? Just if by chance we would need to.

Under-rated and under appreciated since he was an Undrafted FA in 2002.

I can see the merit of signing him, but I can see the merit in letting things playout a little here. Keep in mind the Cowboys start camp a week before most other teams so a few days in flux is OK.

Also 2002 was a long time ago, I'd like to see a younger guy get a good shot at starting as opposed to losing snaps to an old vet.

Is that why he started for one of the best NFL Olines over the past Decade without being Drafted.

And MWini., who do you think is better right now Leary, Livings or Moore. (when healthy)

Um, ok? There's obviously a huge difference between underrating a draft prospect and underrating a free agent.

Brandon Moore and the end of 2012 was a little better than Livings. No doubt at the end of 2012 both were better than Leary.

Now as we enter the 2013 season who knows what the ability of each of the players is. Moore is at the age where drop off could come at any time. And Leary is at the age where fast improvement can happen– and from what we here from the OTA's and the minicamp there was improvement.

My guess is that Moore has overpriced his hand and that's why he's sitting at home.

Livings under his current contract or an improved Leary are a reasonable option over committing a couple mil per year towards Moore IMO.

Maybe....maybe not, Brandon Albert... but he has been here for a visit.....so Dallas has an opinion. History says Moore can stay on the field, it fills a need, he wouldn't get cut and he'd come cheap.

What source do you have that says he would come cheap?

Better than Leary and Livings, sitting at 8 under the Cap and not worth 2 mil.?

IMO... No.

It's like this, I want this team to be a playoff team this year... But more so I want this to be a playoff team for the next several years and to make that happen you need youth (as much as you can).

The other thing is that Livings is signed and there wasn't a big drop-off from Moore to Livings.

Finally, this team is going to need every cent of cap space it can get next season and therefore it needs to rollover as much cap space from this season as it possibly can.
