Probably would be staring at 0-1 but last year proved that was no obstacle. The good news is that the Falcons offense is almost certainly going to regress this year after fielding one of the top units in league history last year. The league could be really mean to us if they wanted us to have a tough start, but that may not be bad as I like having the easier part of the schedule in the second half.

... or Saints.

Apparently NFL promised Falcons they'd open new stadium on Sun Nite and the Cowboys and Saints are the top prospects.
They are going to want ratings on the opening Sunday night and would like to show off the new stadium. Do you give that game to a team who holds 8 out of the top 10 most viewed Sunday night games ever or do you give it to a team that nobody gives a **** about outside of Louisiana?

Any hotel recommendations in Atlanta?

Odds are we'd lose to the falcons but we'd get to see our new defense against the best offense right off the bat. We can see what they're made of.

What should be news: the new stadium's opening day has been pushed back for the 3rd time; now Aug 26. The former Georgia Dome, originally scheduled to be razed in July, now postponed indefinitely.

Man, the team choked in the SB, and now the builders are choking on the new digs.

I think Dallas should avoid the place until October, if not November. Let the Giants or Commanders test the place.

I wouldn't mind it- especially the night game.

Its fun to be able to switch through all the other games and check up on your fantasy team and then watch our team play.

The lack of sleep kills me though!

This is exactly what I've been hoping for. I'm going to the Falcons game and I'm ready to get my hotel down the street reseved. I'll get the tickets later.

I guess we'll know tonight by about 8:10.
