The sports guys here are not in awe of our pick, this stuff makes you mad to listen to. They really don't fathom the whole situation. There really weren't too many exciting hires other than college coaches available at this time. They say we should have gone with a young assistant instead of a retread. One sports guy had covered the Bills up in Buffalo & was not impressed at all. I'm going to hope for the best, but I think Jerry screwed up, thinking this team is a lot closer than it really is. Phillips seems to be for continuity's sake. Not a very "bold" hire. We'll see next year. Look like the "old Jerry" is right back in the saddle.

Who cares what some idiot in virginia thinks? People laughed at Jones when he replaced a Landry with Jimmy Johnson. Not many laughed after a while. For our fans who want to dog on Wade tough luck you can get over it.
