Lockout and the draft

If the owners lockout the players next year, does that guarantee that the Cowboys have the #9 pick for the next 2 drafts?

I'm interested, and I would suspect that the answer depends on when the lockout becomes official. If it becomes official before this years draft, then it seems more likely that an alternate draft order would be used for the 2012 draft.

I don't know.

Does anyone have a likely scenario for how the two drafts would occur if the 2011 season has no games in it?

they probably don't have something in place at the moment. Probably a weighted lottery or even a modified supplemental draft.

Anythings possible, but if so this would be the one situation where I would've tanked and got the #1 pick.

See, if Witten had dropped the ball on the last drive, we would be picking #6 for two years...

oh well.
