This. Dez runs trash routes. IF he came back to Dallas, his snaps would primarily be on the outside. I'd much rather sign Donte Moncrief than Dez. Dez is done IMO.

It's a well established fact that Dez could not play the slot position which is why Beas happened. OP, please do try to do better.

Once a member of the Dallas Cowboys always a member of the Dallas Cowboys. I wouldn't be opposed to us bringing back Dez. However, I'm not sure that it would be best if we had Dez in the slot the entire game. instead what I would do, is to have Dez Cooper and Gallup rotated each other so that defences would not be able to predict which way they're going to go. This would give us an extra bit of creativity and less predictability.

However, we should not forget that we also have Cedrick Wilson who can make for a very good slot for an outside player. So that give us a little bit of an extra weapon too if we had all four of them, along with Jason Witten and Ezekiel Elliott. Or have separate packages for them to make us even more dangerous. Defences can't double cover multiple players so one of them would likely be very well open.

That was a long time ago. Four years ago since he performed at a high level.

He played prettt well prior to signing his new contract but all he has done is talk a good talk since then.
