I wonder if we will have the biggest fanbase in the NFL in a year like 2030, when all the people around in the 60's and 70's have either passed on or are living in nursing homes and the entire new generation of fans(People born in the 90's, 2000's and 2010's) are the ones buying tickets and merchandise. I wonder if a team like the Colts or Pats will be the most popular team.

That's a very good point. Once a younger generation of fans dominates the market, the Cowboys might lose their top spot. You may well be onto something there, however, I sure hope I last longer than 2030.
The cowboys should still have a large (or the largest) fan base in the future due to exposure.
If the young generation is brought up (raised) in a cowboy environment, following mom and dad's footsteps, our base should continue. I know my kids love the cowboys as do several other cowboy "families" I know.
I think Osi was expecting a larger giant appearance due to their bowl victory. When in reality, most cowboy fans I know are DIE HARD fans and not bandwagon jumpers.
We're there to the end, even with a 1 and 15 record, only to have:skins: that year (turkeyday I think).
