I am honestly surprised that Gruden got fired this year.
I think you're in the wrong thread ;)

He was on the Michael Kay show and he was asked if the Giants don't offer him what he wants and the Cowboys offered him the most money would he sign with them. He said he Hates the Cowboys and has since he was a little kid. He also said he wouldn't want to dissrepect himself or his family by putting on the Cowboys helmet.

He's just pissed b/c he and his teammates pulled a "one and done" with homefield advantage like we did last year.

Awwww I'm so sad. Brandon Jacobs hates the Cowboys. That just kills me.

On a more serious note he's also completely full of crap. If Dallas was offering the most to play here he'd sign here, regardless of what he says in some silly radio interview right now.

I'm sorry, but did I miss all the We want Brandon threads?

Seems that someone thinks awful highly of himself.

Dear Brandon,

You suck, and you would be 4th string on our club.
I don't blame you for doing the right thing and retiring.

Best of luck with the bingo scene.

Signed,
Everyone

I can completely sympathize with Jacobs sentiments. I mean I have hated the Commanders all my life. If I were an NFL player, I dont think I could ever play for them, even if it meant not being able to play in the NFL.

Of course there are 2 good things about playing for the Skins.....1. Danny Boy pays you tons of jack even if you are mediocre 2. access to those hottie Cheerleaders

Right now, those are just empty words. If he should ever become a free agent one or more times before he retires AND he were to reject any offer from the Cowboys during one or more of those times, I could respect him for taking this stance and remaining true to it. However, he has to prove that he's not just blowing smoke up everyone's caboose first before I can begin to respect him for saying that he wouldn't ever consider becoming a Cowboy.

I wish more of our players felt this way, but I can't think of a single player that wouldn't play for a division rival if the money was there.

I agree. If I was a Giants' fan, I would be loving this. Its an old school attitude that has been lacking in the free agency era.

The Giants' fans are treated to this while we get "I'm a free agent baby!" around here.

Good. I respect guys that hate their division rivals and wouldn't play for them. I think its exactly what football needs to bring back.

Shawn Bradley, is that you?

Hahaha! Nice. Shawn was a walking twig. If somebody awkwardly fell into his legs with any amount of force, he would've broke in half. That guy was a waste of space with the Mavs. Oh well, they're still a bunch of underachieving hoopsters.

Enough basketball, back to the underachieving, ahem, I mean Dallas Cowboys.
