Nothing ever stays in house with this team, lol.

Everyone in this organization is always looking to yap yap yap to the media.

And then the fans look to bash the media, lol.

Jerry. The head honcho. Just spoke live less than 2 hours ago and would not confirm this, but yet we have their website reporting it and then taking it back. Then the local media confirming it with a signed deal.

:laugh1:

Gina miller just confirmed it on the sports segment on cbs11.

He has a 3 year deal and some stuff is still being finalized and that is why they held back......

She just 'oh snapped' me, lol.

He's getting the three year deal.

But that don't mean anything. If he doesn't get this team to the Super Bowl in Cowboys Stadium next season he's done.

I love this move. Keeps consistency. lets the players know he's the man in charge for the foreseeable future. and he earned it. i'm tired of the coaching carousel. Great move.

yeah, dump the guy who just coached the offense to all sorts of team records this year

dump the guy who's done an amazing job with our franchise QB, who improved by leaps and bounds this year over his 3 previous years

yeah, we'll be better off with just about anybody

All sorts?

And Romo had more to do with his play than Garrett did, by far.

This is great news.

I want to keep Garrett, too.

He impressed me this year.

He just needs to leave Felix Jones in the game when he's white hot.

I feel where you coming from but who else have you seen control this offense with these weapons? how do we know that someone else wouldn't do as well or better? You don't. But mock on. How long do you feel we should ride his learning curve?

I remember attacking champ bailey. I remember four runs from the one. I remember the barber pitch. I and anyone else have a right to be unsatisfied with the offense in important games for failed adaptation, stubborness and failed gimmick plays. Sorry if you don't like it, but these things happened. What makes you think that he will make the right corrections to make up for these shortcomings during the offseason? He didn't last offseason, or the one before that. Just feel like someone with more experience could better utilize our talent on the offensive side. Just a knee jerk reaction right? Meh.

You could make the statement you just made about any coach on any of the leagues 32 teams. The answer for any team regardless of who is there is yeah, there is probably somebody better. How easy is it to find someone better? Who would be better that we could obviously get?

And this gets back to my contention of why our fans are so fickle...people like you over analyze one play or a handful of plays, and disregard anything and everything else done over the full body of work.

Do we need to score more points, yeah. Are we the 89/90 Cowboys offense, no, not even remotely close. But thats the way many of you try to spin things. We came up just short of AVERAGING 400 yds per game (how many teams on a year to year basis do this, do you even know?) Romo drastically improved his decision making and was a dominant player late in the season for the first time ever.

Its true. Romo took the initiative this season.

And I know Dallas set a few records but not sure there were all sorts of records. Maybe you could help me out.

I already posted this in another thread at least a couple of times.

As for Romo taking the initiative to improve, that obviously had an impact. But so does quality coaching. I dont think there's any position thats more positively or negatively effected by good or bad coaching thatn the QB position.

So where has this coaching been before this season?

And what could Garrett have done to improve Romo. His problem was turnovers. All he had to do was stop taking risks and protect the ball. I think half the board should get credit for being able to say that.

Guess I missed the other thread. I have to take a look.

There's really no sense in us discussing this anymore, so I'll quit.

You got that right.. and while Peyton Manning gets Tom Moore, Romo gets Wilson and Garrett.

I believe Tony Romo is being served an incredible injustice

The years roll on.
