This week Tottenham Hotspurs (soccer team) announced their new stadium which is due to start construction, is designed specifically for NFL games and includes a retractable artificial NFL playing field.

In tandem, the NFL announced a desire to play 8 games a year in London and said they believe the market is ready for it.

Looks like the Jags relocating is becoming a reality.

I don't think that the NFL will end up relocating a single team to London full time, but I do think that eventually there will be a game there every week of the season featuring different teams.

Still not so about so much expansion. I understand the why but that doesn't necessarily mean we should.

No chance it will be preseason games. Fans aren't going to pay money to see meaningless contests.

Season ticket holders on this side of the pond are forced to pay for tix to those meaningless games. Its extortion really.

Current games are 3 times over subscribed.

NFL games are getting an average of 15m viewers a week. London is now the NFLs biggest TV market.
