Long Time Lurker Appreciation Thread

Hostile, You are certainly welcome. One thing I could never figure out is why posters could never be more civil with each other.
I really care about the Cowboys , but hey this is not life or death , just a sport. It has really made me sad over the years to see the flame wars and posters getting offended and not coming back, and the need to bury the hatchette... why can't we all : Just get along ?

Well, I'm the wrong person to ask because I am probably the most hated Cowboys fan on the planet.

Have enjoyed reading threads over the years. I've been a Cowboy fan since 5yrs old (31 years now). Live in Wisconsin and get lots of trash from Packer fans, until I remind them of the domination in the 90s. Most proud of raising my 13 year old daughter to become a hardcore Cowboy fan in the middle of Packer country.

Hey mzgrimes, i am a life long fan that also lives in enemy territory about five miles from (the cooker) Fed Ex field. I get a lot of verbal abuse because I love to wear my colors, they look so good on me! Big head and all.

Man, I don't even know where to begin. I have lurked for so many years, I have seen the board change sites. I feel like I know many of you personally. Who you are comes through over time. I remember when the guys at DCC and this board were one. The funny part is, as far as I can tell, that split happened because some people wanted to curse and some people preferred not to. I really do appreciate all the of the long time posters for their opinions as well as being able to get all my cowboys info in one place. Pretty cool if you ask me. So...........Thanks.

With regards to the split with DCC, I suppose the desire for harsher language was part of the reason for the split. Three of the guys there just flat out didn't like some of us too. It happens. We wish them well. I miss one or two of those guys, but if they are happier there than here, that's their right to be where they are happy.

They created it right after this forum and most of the other independent forums turned them down to be the forum for that site. It is a morgue most of the time and just not a good move.

to post. i have signed up 3 times and have never received a reply other than the automated...we got your request deal....
the shame of it is that people who do post there were wanting questions answered that i could have helped them with re: tickets,parking,times

Yeah it was a really poor idea. If they had listened to us they would have had a truly top notch forum. Their offer was kind of insulting.
