This week is turning into the longest week ever. From Suh's suspension/nonsuspention, Fairley practicing, Church's comments, and Tate's come back I feel like this game will never get here. Going to be there like I am for all Cowboy"s game but I'm really ready for Sunday to get here. I know I should be enjoying being back in the playoffs and just relax but I just can't.

Agreed. This has been a long week. The holiday has only made it seem even longer.

As the week wears on, the less confident I feel.

Yes, the holiday has made it seem very long. I was sitting at home yesterday watching college FB. The day off coupled with college games made it feel like Saturday. I felt like today should have been game day Sunday, but that's still two days away...loooong week.

Could have been worse, what if we got the bye! :)

It's only going to get worse as the post-season goes on. Hang in there!!

I'm getting off topic here, but can you imagine if JG had chosen to sit Romo, Dez, Murray, and other starters against Washington and SF beat AZ (which did happen) and St Louis had beaten Seattle (STL kept it close for a while)? Our starters would have gone three weeks between games. I don't even want to think about how the game could start for us after a layoff like that. Talk about a momentum stopper, that would have been one.

Yeah, can't wait for Sunday to get here. I need this game to be over and I need to know we're going to Green Bay next week. An added factor for me is that I hate the Lions. Historically, we have played like crap against them about 50% of the time. Hopefully Sunday will be on the good side of all that. You know what is wonderful? I believe in Garrett. There was a time when I didn't know if he would have them ready or not. I now believe that he will not only have them ready from the start, but make the necessary adjustments as the game goes along. Go Cowboys. Beat Detroit. Finish The Fight.

Garrett has done a great job of keeping this team grounded and focused. That is important to avoid players getting caught up in the hoop la of the cities excitement.

I was at the last home playoff game when the Cowboys beat Philly and I know it didn't feel like this long a wait. I think it's because everyday it seems the Lions get more good news on players. Best news in the 09 game was McNabb was still the QB

Wait, we didn't have a bye last week? Sure feels like it. Totally agree, long week.

I have been stressed out all week thinking of this game. I'm not even playing either. :) I just feel the pressure. Want this team to win so badly!

I remember feeling this way throughout those 90's appearances. The entire post season seemed like an entire season. Every minute of the day I was thinking about it.

To me this is one of the best parts about being in the playoffs. The build-up to the game, and all the media articles. In the past, I have always kind of shut it down after the regular season ended, avoided ESPN, NFL.com....etc. This week, I am reading everything I can, and watching everything I can. I have renewed interest in the playoffs and not just the Cowboys game. I even can't wait for the other three games where in the past I had minimal interest in what was going on in the playoffs.

I'll take this feeling anytime.

RELAX....have some drinks, sleep the next few days.....then will be well rested for the game....

Man it really IS a long week.

Still, I'm glad we're playing Sunday vs Saturday.

No kidding. What's worse for me is that I'll be away on a beach over the weekend and have a feeling there will be no Fox television where I'm going.

You didn't wear your lucky coat during week 17 for 3 years running?

Well that explains that.
