Did you not watch the Skins game? They were totally lucky to win that one - a missed chip shot field goals is the only reason they

Atlanta also had a great shot to beat them without 8 starters including their QB and RB.

If you think they are playing like a 13-0 team right now, then you are clueless.
I'm sorry, what's their record right now?

Shaddup.

That's pretty much the definition of quitting.

What are you seeing that gives you the idea the team has quit? That's one problem I *definitely* haven't seen even a hint of.

No kidding. Quitting? What? Did we lose 44-6 to Philly yesterday?

I have not given up on the team but I have given up on the staff.

I am just not going to have high expectations for them anymore and let it ruin my weekend!

Witten, newman and deion anderson said after the game emphatically that this team will not quit and and anderson responded to laufenberg's good luck and go win in new orleans with "you can count on it"

the team wont quit. But this lousy stinking city and fanbase will and have.

If any team should have the us against the world mantra its the cowboys. They have no one in their corner. The media here makes a living with negative stories, the fans stink and nationally they are a punchline.

Just get drunk and take some of rampage's depression pills to keep you happy while you watch!!

I'll take 13-0 with some lucky breaks that get us out of some games with a W over 8-5 with some unlucky breaks that have cost us valuable games.

At the end of the day 13-0 is still 13-0. There are no rules or anything saying that you can't count it as 13-0 simply because you didn't kill everyone you played.

yeah this team didnt quit. Right after Demarcus went down, they went on a defense powerhouse and shut down that SD offense. Wait that was in a dream, the real team gave up and let them walk all over them.

I know it, man. It just makes me sick. I actually feel bad for the guys on the team, I really do. I bet they can't listen to even a single minute of local sports radio.

I know we do it every week, but the official pregame show was at it again. The whole premise is that "You guys suck, that's the way it is because I say so, and it'll be that way until you prove otherwise." There's never even a consideration that maybe they don't suck, but just aren't quite good enough.

I firmly believe this December thing is mainly schedule related, but when the players hear it a billion times, after a while it probably really does get in their heads. Which is pretty sad on many levels.

Yep, I tried listening to 1033 yesterday, but I just cant, They are so bad....SO back to 105.3 and larry brown and jagger and richie just baggin on everyone and claiming we are an awful team.

I was standing about 50 feet from them where they do the pregame show on the west end plaza and larry and jagger were in a moment of bagging on everyone and I just wished I had brought a big sign that had a screw on one side and larrry browns picture on the other.

This city and the media and fans here suck. Instead of standing up for guys who play here and rolling with the punches they duck and point and bail out.

The players who play here, like I always say about aikman, must hate the fans of this team.

One guy to his credit yesterday called the pre game show yesterday and asked larry and the guys why they are so negative and how it is possible that there is nothing positve to talk about over a 3 hour period.

Larry responded after laughing at the guy with a I am a realist and talk about factual things. He would fit right in here with that group of people. Then after the game on the postgame larry was bascially mocking that caller constantly saying how he was being real and how he isnt negative.

whatever. It is what it is around here. I am not fighting it anymore or standing up for anyone here anymore.

The way they layed down after Demarcus got hurt.

I think we will see that carry over to the Saints game and we will get beat down.

We've got enough legitimate problems, I don't think we should add 'quitting' to the list. Quitting's what we did in Philly last year. Yesterday was just getting beat by a better team. We're still playing hard, nobody has turned on anyone else, and the players are still ticked in the locker room. NOLA might blow us out, but it won't be for lack of effort. I still think we can win that game.

That's what this team has been for the past decade.

You get the team you deserve, fans. The media is having a field day with this December swoon stuff. It's a much better story than Dallas playing well and in a tight race for the division/wildcard. You guys lap it up and this is what you get. Enjoy it if you're not going to do something about it.

So basically what you are saying is you hope this team sucks so the fans will suffer? Correct me if i am wrong.

It's not even close to what I'm saying, but it's too tedious for me to chew the point up and spit it in your mouth for you so I don't feel like doing it.

Is this a gut-check roll-call? I'm here and won't roll over and play dead until we're actually eliminated (or win it all :) ).

Even then, I'll think the rest of our fans are mostly hopeless, faithless losers.
:laugh2: Keep putting your faith in guys like Bradie James, Flozell Adams and Marcus Spears.

I actually heard that very part where the caller asked about the negativity, and Larry Brown said he was just keeping it real. Ugh.

I don't know what it is. I guess it all comes back to the past successes and now people think anything short of that is a joke.

But Troy pretty much called out the fans when he said Dallas wasn't a football town, it was a winners town. Basically what he meant was that it was a town of frontrunners who think that everyone sucks until proven otherwise, and then we'll get on the bandwagon. Until they go downhill again, when the real favorite sport of mocking the local team starts up again.

I was Oklahoma City when we played the Commanders and went out to watch the game, and there was a big group of Browns fans that were cheering like crazy for their team. In a way it was ridiculous because that team is so bad, but part of me envied that kind of hardcore devotion.

Anyway, I'm rambling, but sometimes I think the attitude of this town is a detriment. When you win you're the best ever, and when you lose you are totally heartless and hopeless. I think you've even mentioned Parcells talking about that.
