Oops!SMH, Packer fan here. When did the Packers play the Ravens? I am getting old but I don't think they were on the schedule this year. I don't remember an overtime game either.
There I go again, relying on a flawed memory. It was the Rams that lost their one game to the Ravens. Good catch, and sorry for the false information.
It does seem like even the wildcard teams this season are very competitive.in the NFC.
Looking at the 2nd half of the season, many teams in the NFC finished strong with some pretty good momentum.
The Rams went 7-1 and three teams in the NFC went 6-2. They are the Cowboys, 49ers, and Packers.
I've listened to many analysts saying that the AFC is the strongest conference but it is the NFC that is trending stronger in the second half of the season.
For the last 8 games, the top four teams and five of the first six top teams in offensive yardage are NFC.
Offensive yardage (Last half of season)
1.49ers
2. Rams
3. Packers
4. Lions
6. Cowboys
Four teams are tied for the 2nd half of the season in least turnovers and both the Cowboys and Packers are in that group.
