Most of their fans are very confident that they'll win. And I have no problem with that.

The thing that stuck with me the most is that they keep bringing up past wins over us as a reason they should beat us....

....but don't seem to understand that they had Aaron "The Devil Himself" Rodgers as a QB back then.

I have nothing against Jordan Love, but I really hope we destroy them.
From what I saw they are saying that they are playing with house money and all the pressure is on us. That’s very true.

GB is about the perfect victim for Dallas.
McCarthy will be very focused on beating his former team.
Love is terrible outside the pocket and this pass rush will get after him.
Knowledgeable GB fans expect to lose.
The line is DAL by 7.5

Might not be as bad at Tampa last year but this shouldn't be close.

I mean we lost to them in ‘16 when they had off the street guys starting for them in the secondary, couldnt do anything till the second half
You see, that's the OP's point: basing a prediction on previous teams. Personnel/coaching/players... all different. Holds no merit.

This board needs something better than a "like" button to use for posts like this. Thank you for not missing the point.

GB is probably the weakest team in the entire postseason-- not just NFC, but the AFC also.

They're going to have to play out of their minds or we're going to have to bumble-butt our way into a loss.
This.

Essentially the Packers are just happy to be there. They are way ahead of schedule on their rebuild. Typically teams have to wander the desert for years after HOF calibre QBs exit (for whatever reason). They ARE the worst team in the playoffs this year -- if they lose the game they still look at the season as a gigantic success.

I got that, but both times now were facing them at a weaker position and we shouldve won the last time, im just hoping we take advantage of it like we did vs tampa last year when most were expecting us to lose. At least this time we dont have Garrett over our shoulders.

That 2016 Packers pass defense was the worst Dallas has ever faced in the playoffs.
Teams dropping 40 on them all over the place
And we played them IN Dallas and still lost the game
And what player did GB have in that game that they don’t this game that would make a huge difference?

Yeah thats why that game was so frustrating. 1st and 3rd killed us and then a magical 4th came up too late.

That was such a bad coaching job by JG. It was so embarrassing.

2 things , starting Dak instead of Romo , which caused a slow start ( typical of Garett and Dak after that ) by the time we caught up it was 4th qtr and the GB OL ignored holdings , AR’s magical pass to TE Reed was not legal as OL had tackled Irving , that pass should have been called back ( & damn Byron for letting that complete)

I saw that scrub Byron Jones before a preseason game the following season when he was entering AT&T from the players parking lot. I gave him an earful and told him he ended our season and not to let TEs sneak up behind him. He gave me an angry look and security escorted him into the stadium.

In the parity era and with a seemingly “snakebit” franchise this could get very nerve racking late in the game lol
