Winston is ridiculously good.
His team looks awfully tough too.
Florida State looks like they have some SEC and a little Big 12 I them.
Big, physical, very fast and athletic, and they run and pass it really, really well.

watching Clemson lay down after that ridiculous entrance to the stadium was extremely funny.

seriously you have GOT to be kidding to say Winston is better than Manziel.... both as a college QB and as a pro prospect. Manziel is once again the best player in college football by a large margin.

Winston has the "it" factor that Cam Newton, Tebow, and Vince Young had in college. I would be very surprised if by the end of his college career after 2014, he hasn't won a championship

Not only does he have the same "it" factor that Manziel has, he has a better team around him. That may get him a championship that Manziel never sees.

Manziel's unlucky in the sense that A&M's recruiting success is a result of the move to the SEC and his personal play. A&M is building a good team (recruiting well at almost every position currently - this past week alone they picked up the #1 defensive player in Texas in 2014 AND the #1 defensive player in Texas in 2015) but it won't gel until Manziel is gone.

This is the year the Heisman will go to an national title contender and that will put the Oregon and FSU candidates over the top. Manziel has already slid out of the top five projections.

Winston will be by far a better pro prospect than Manziel. By far.

Just from a physical standpoint, I don't know how anyone can trust Manziel to even be able to stay on the field once he hits the NFL. Like RG3 and Vick have shown, guys that size just aren't meant to take so many hits. It's a shame that Manziel skyrocketed so fast in his college career because I would have loved to have seen him for a full four years but he just rose to stardom so fast.

I'm no Manziel fan, but Romo isn't any bigger, nor is Brees.

wow. Romo is much heavier and more solid. But you did not know that. Pretty much says it all for your knowledge of our team.

Manziel has already slid out of the top five projections.

Maybe in your imagination, but in the actual polls he hasn't.

Sports Illustrated Heisman Watch (10/21): Manziel ranked 3rd.
ESPN Heisman Poll (10/22): Manziel ranked 3rd.
USA Today Heisman Poll (10/21) : Manziel ranked 3rd.
Heismanpundit (10/21): Manziel ranked 3rd.
Bovada Sports Book (10/21): Manziel ranked 4th.

Manziel actually played one of his best games against Auburn - 454 yards passing and 4 touchdowns. Despite returning to the game with an injured shoulder.

But Manziel likely won't win it (despite having better overall numbers than last year), because A&M's defense stinks so much right now. If you gave swapped FSU's defense with A&M's, A&M would be undefeated, and Johnny Manziel would be a lock to win his 2nd Heisman. IMHO.

Dude, seriously go look at Romo's combine numbers - where they actually took the time to measure him. At the 2003 Combine, he was OFFICIALLY measured at 6020 (6'2"), 230lbs. Brees measured 6002(6'2/10"), 213 in 2001 (Michael Vick was 2/10 of an inch shorter than Brees, put 2 lbs. heavier). Manziel is AT BEST 6' EVEN, but probably closer to 5114 (5'11.5").

In other words, THEIR NOT EVEN CLOSE in size.

I know you guys worship him but if you read the earlier posts, I was responding in defense of his size, so way to jump the gun, especially since he was being compared by a poster to the 6'2 RG3.

And in a year like this with so many good quarterbacks playing ( and Manziel being PR poison to boot) of course an undefeated team with a good quarterback is the favorite, I even already addressed that.
