looking at the Browns schedule

So I went through the Browns schedule and I just can't see how this team is going to be any good. Guys, Dallas having the #1 overall pick is not far-fecthed, It's a Gigantic possibility.

Bengals- L
Raiders - possible WIN
Ravens- L
Pats- Extra butt whoopin ( L )
Dolphins- Possible Win
Rams- possible Win
Seattle- L
Steelers-L
Ravens-L
texans- possible win
cards- Possible win
jets- Possible win
Buff-L
Bengals-L
Niners-Possible Win


So a miracle season would be 9-7 at best...But they are the Browns, the Punching bag of the NFL. I see 3-4 wins at most. Poor guys.:laugh2: :laugh2:

i just knew for a fact that we could make it through two preseason games without a thread about the browns schedule

you would have thunk with the 50,000 threads since the schedule was released we would be done with this till the season starts but oh well.

I see the first 4 games as critical.
3 home division games and one of their few winnable road games.

If they go 4-0 they could make the playoffs
3-1 and they're looking at 9 wins
2-2 they may finish with 7 wins.
1-3 and they'll be lucky to reach 5 wins
0-4 which I think is very possible and they looking at 1-2 wins

2-14 should all but guarantee us the top pick.
3-13 and it would probably come down to a tiebreaker
4-12 no chance. Can't remember the last time there wasn't at least a couple of teams who failed to win 4 games.

the browns early schedule is brutal.. they could easily start 0-5.. hopefully they just mail it in at that point.

Win or lose this schedule they have such a hard one to face. In the next few upcoming years they are going to have a legit shot to win some of these games like against the Ravens who are cap strung and HAVE to let go of either Chris mcalister, Todd Heap, or Terrell Suggs, while franchising one of them and signing one to a big deal. The Steelers are moving to a 4-3 and their secondary is going to be exposed big time for the fraud that it is, along with Polomulu. The Bengals go with Carson Palmer and his perfect protection. Lets see how he does without Steinbech.

Point is, If that line solidifies along with a decent running game (not Jamal Lewis) and Brady Quinn isn't the next Ryan Leaf the team has a chance to win some games. But not this season. This year they are going to get blown out of the water by that defense. God they probably have the worst overall talent in the league besides maybe the Dolphins.
