So I went through the Browns schedule and I just can't see how this team is going to be any good. Guys, Dallas having the #1 overall pick is not far-fecthed, It's a Gigantic possibility.

Steelers - L
Bengals- L
Raiders - possible WIN
Ravens- L
Pats- Extra butt whoopin ( L )
Dolphins- Possible Win
Rams- possible Win
Seattle- L
Steelers-L
Ravens-L
texans- possible win
cards- Possible win
jets- Possible win
Buff-L
Bengals-L
Niners-Possible Win

So a miracle season would be 9-7 at best...But they are the Browns, the Punching bag of the NFL. I see 3-4 wins at most. Poor guys.:laugh2: :laugh2:

Raiders, Dolphins, Texans, and Cards.

Thats it.

4-12:)

Get ready for us to drop more than a couple of picks to move up for Run-DMC. Brady Quinn is going to light it up. And I know, for most of yall, a pretty boy doing that...painful for your ugly mugs.

People thought the same thing when looking at the Saints last year.

We don't know where the pick will end up. What we do know is that we'll have 2 1st rounders next year.

I am happy with that.

If the pick ends up in the top 5, its just gravy.

Boy howdy! You are really disrespecting the Niners, Rams, and Jets.

That's what I was thinking. The Niners and Rams will be fighting for the division title (one of them should win it) and the J-e-t-s, Jets, Jets, Jets, went to the playoffs last year.

Those games should be losses for the Browns, IMO. It will be a real surprise if they aren't.

Not how I see it. I'll be very dissapointed with anything outside the top 5.

Everytime I look at that team, its division and schedule, I see 4 wins at best!

I'm really holding out hope for the first pick. Most years there is a significant difference in Value from pick one to pick two. Especially when a preceived franchise QB is involved as may very well be the case in 2008 with Brohm.

I'll predict right now that if we do get the first pick, we end up with a real nice trade down package that still includes McFadden.

Just look at some of the past deals for Elway, Vick and George.

I'll agree with all of that. Of course that is called the "best case" scenero also.

I cant understand this response. Nothing personal, this is intended for everyone with a like mindset.

If you see a thread on a topic you either don't care for or are sick of discussing........DONT OPEN IT.

Maybe this guy doesn't come here every day.
Maybe he hasn't seen the other 50,000 Browns sched threads.
Maybe he's just so obsessed with the thought of having a top 5 pick he has a need to discuss it every day.

Maybe anyone who's seen all 50,000 Browns sched threads is here too often.
That goes for replying to such posts as well.

I just hope they start Brady Week 1. That will pretty much ensure 0-5 out of the gate. Then they play 4 out of 5 games on the road in November, early December. Hopefully by the final stretch the season will be lost, Crennel will be a lame duck and the team will have quit.

Yeah, I think a 9-7 year is the best case scenerio for them.

Here's hoping they do much, much worse.

I am also not sure that the Raiders might not be better if Culpepper comes back healthy. They have a great defense. With any kind of offense they could win some games this year.

When I look at it overall, who is worse than the Browns? I just don;t see any team that I can definately says is worse than them. But, on any given Sunday............

I won't say no way, but 4 maybe 5 wins at best for them this year.

I think they beat the Steelers at least once. Unless Roethlisberger gets his act together, the Steelers will miss the playoffs.

The Browns will be better this year than last year, simply because Murphy's Law will apply and we have their first rounder next year.

I think Cleveland is a little bit like the Cowboys were prior to Parcells arriving. They are acquiring some talent over there. There is just not enough of it yet to see the results of the talent acquired because there are too many holes to fill. I hope they give the coach at least one more year after this year to be fair to him.

The problem with all these "Browns have some young talent" arguments, and the comparisons to teams like the Saints, is that the Browns don't have a quarterback. It's the whole reason they were so hyped to get Quinn in the first place.

Jamal Lewis did look pretty good in that preseason game, though. But maybe he'll sprain an ankle or something. :)

I'm sure they will win some you don't expect and lose some they aren't expected to lose. Thus is the world made.

Still, I would be shocked to see them better than 5-11

They're not expected to loss a game this season?

:laugh1:
