If you decide on a Dell be sure to get an extra gallon of Prestone anti-freeze to keep in the trunk. :D

Just curious.....Why a laptop for gaming? You could get a much better gaming desktop for the same price.

Suggestion: Don't buy a laptop for gaming, buy a laptop to do your portable computing.

Desktops are better for gaming. Better displays, better power-consuming hardware, freely/easily upgradeable. Cheaper too, and last longer.

Def want a desktop for gaming purposes. Some of the new games out now will bring a descent laptop to it's knees.

can't go wrong with a mac some of the used ones can be really cheap.

Not for MMORPG you will have to wait like 3-5 years after it is out to even have a thought of a mac install most never put out one

No Mac for gamers it is like buying a boat anchor

I'm not a big gamer, but I have a pc and a mac. If I were you I'd look into mac books if you are considering a lap top.

Gaming laptop under $700? Tell you what, you find a hot supermodel that likes ugly chubby dudes and I'll find you a good gaming laptop for under $700.

Mine was $600+ and good for everything EXCEPT gaming. Cheap laptops don't usually come with good video cards. Usually some type of shared memory card.

that defeats the purpose of booting into a windows on a mac. thats like getting a ferrari and throwing a ford pinto motor into it.

a safer better route would be cross-over (i believe thats what its called)
