It's unfortunate that Deion has such an unappealing personality, because he was such a spectacular player. I still believe that Deion might be the fastest person that has ever lived but most people don't really want to acknowledge his greatness because he's such d-b and I don't mean defensive back.

He's the fastest guy that's ever played football. All of those track athletes that the Raiders had like World record setting Willie Gault were no match for Deion. He was insulted when they tried to go deep on him only to see him look like he was back there waiting for a punt because he had out run them so badly.

Deion walked into the combine, ran a 4.2 forty and went home.

There's really no way to know because Deion didn't train to be an Olympic style track athlete. Why would he when he can play Pro football and Pro baseball at the same time?

I see what you are saying. Do you think he could have covered Bullet Bob Hayes? (who was a track star).

Deion is the best CB I have seen unfortunately he is an idiot otherwise and is not a good expert commentator

Dez has done a lot of growing up and is a success story

Post of the month.

It's always difficult to compare. I don't have a forty time for Hayes or a 100 time for Deion, but based on watching game footage I would say that Deion would have had no problem covering Hayes.

Deion played in a era where the overall speed and athleticism was better than it was in Hayes era. Despite that, I've never seen anybody really challenge Deion speed-wise in all the games that I've seen. WRs like Irvin did challenge him in football, because Deion had some issues with Irvin's size and strength, but I just didn't see anybody really challenge him in pure speed situations.

It wasn't just Deion's speed that made him great, but he had unbelievable agility while running full speed and he could stop and start on a dime. Some of those returns that he had showed unmatched athleticism, IMO.

Bo Jackson is the only football player that I consider to possibly be a better overall athlete than Deion and that is primarily because he had near-Deion speed while outweighing Deion by 30+ pounds. I still remember vividly the 1st time that I ever saw Bo break a baseball bat like it was a toothpick. Also, seeing him run over Brian Bosworth like he was a little school girl was fun as well.

Good for Dez to make an appearance.

As far as Deion's speed. IMO he's arguably the fastest player to step on the field. Just look at his highlights and you can just see the separation in small spaces while returning a kick or INT.

I remember watching Bo Jackson outrun a routine ground ball to short as a child. Incredible.

He also broke a bat over his head once.

I think they made up a while ago.....

1 point Deion would never comment on Dez, during highlights. Last year was different, and he praised him and defended him some.

Deion must've realized dez isn't as bad as he thought and he should know his role and shut his mouth. Meaning deion should.:D

Not to mention, he drafted him as the first WR in the pro-Bowl. They been cool for some time i believe

I saw that play! Up until that point I had never seen Bosworth play but had bought into all the hype when all of a sudden I saw this and laughed so hard I spurted Pepsi thru my nose. :D

Deon got mad because he brokered a sponsorship deal between UnderArmour and Dez and Dez agreed to sponsor but preferred to actually wear Nike...or at least, that's my understanding. Anyway, good to see that they put their differences aside to mentor future Pro Football players.
