Despite a virtually invisible Davis at FS, the pass defense was incredible today...the best we've seen in many a year. The problem was 2-fold imo:

1. Brees and that offense are for real

2. We still can't get much pressure on the QB, even when blitzing the entire dang team, and not much push up the middle from our big guys..allowing Brees to step up and ignore the outside pressure when it was there.

Yeah, Brees completed over half of his passes (barely)... his quarterback rating was an AWESOME 65.1... and the Chargers had a net 188 yards passing... they also had under 6 yards per attempt...
