I've said it since Lance was traded here.

There is no competition between Lance and Rush.

lol @ 'since Lance was traded here'. There was no competition the very second Jerry Jones finalized the trade.

Heck. Competition was heavily in doubt between Trey Lance and Cooper Rush when the light bulb popped on inside the Mad Genius' head. "Well, goooooolly! I can get myself a first-round quarterback without drafting one! Shazam!"

I agree that its a draft and develop team. IMO, there are just so many young guys on the roster that some of those 4 will be gone to make room for OTHER development people.

Just as an example: Richards. The team has Tyler Smith, Guyton, Bass, Richards and Beebe as 1st or 2nd year lineman. That's a LOT of youth. I think its either Waletzko or Richards for the #9 guy on the roster.

Eric Scott? Cowboys have a pretty deep defensive backfield. They just signed Conley and drafted Carson. IMO, its Scott or Nashon Wright for the last DB spot.

Fehoko? He is behind Micah, Kneeland (R), Tank, Williams on the DE list and the team also likes Tyrus Wheat (2nd year). Fehoko is at a minimum going to have to beat out Wheat to make the roster.

These guys may end on the practice squad.

Too bad we don't have anyone really competing for DT.

This is not a real depth chart. If they played a real game today it would be completely different. These early charts just indicate they are trying different things, seeing how guys do, or injury replacements.

QB2 won’t be settled until preseason. We haven’t even seen Lance take a snap in a game for us. There’s a lot of focus on him with Dak still looking for an extension and we’re going to have to make a decision on Lance after this season.

What the Cowboys have is a 4th round investment that needs to get serious reps in preseason . The Cowboys are well aware of Cooper Rush .
